September Mojo Classes

I just could not resist using orange, hot pink and black together for one of my Sept. Mojo Class cards.  This one has the folded frame they are featuring on one of my yahoo groups.  I made these when I first started to stamp with photos in the center and put magnets on them for the refrigerator.  Ideas just keep circling back in stamping.

I used the sets 'Background Soup' and 'Spiders are Seen'. I colored with my Copic markers and scored the frame with by Scor-pal.  I added floss with ribbon tied onto it for an embellishment.  This card looks so much better in person ... the colors are really awesome together!

Let me know if you are coming to my Sept. mojo classes this week as soon as possible ... we are doing Halloween, Fall and sympathy cards.

I had a really great show yesterday at Tri-Point Hospital.  There are not many vendors but we all do have a good time selling together.  I had make a few new items .... wine bottle boxes and tags to hang on wine bottles and I almost sold out of them.  Can you guess what I will be making this week?  I guess I need to take a few pictures of them and share them with all of you.

Thanks for stopping in ... I love to read comments but never seem to get any.

August Mojo Classes

Here is another of the cards we will be making for my Aug Mojo classes next week.  It uses the new set 'Girls Day Out' and the 'Rockin' Roxie' Matchbook Kit.  Oh ... did I tell you that you get a Free Matchbook Kit this month if you purchase the set 'Spiders are Seen' which is a new set available from The Angel Company.  I was inspired by a card I got in my trades from seminar ... sorry I do not remember who made it .... but it is a pocket card.  I used the embellishments from the card kit on the card along with the matching Bazill papers.
Here is a close up of the boots with the tulips I colored with my Copic markers.  And below is a picture with the insert removed.  You can even add a gift item into the pocket if you wish.
I am actually doing three cards in this class with the words and smaller images from this set ... and I did not even use the main image.  It is a really nice set for words and images both.  I am having a lot of fun with it.  Sunday I will post another sample.

I still have openings in my classes if you are interested please let me know as soon as possible.  Check out the top of my blog for the calendar to see times and dates.

I did four (4) ... did I say four markets last week and it was so much fun meeting new people and sharing my products with people.  I am so loving doing these.  It was mighty hot though!!! I will be doing the same shows next week and then on the 27th I will be starting at the new Tri-Point Hospital Market from noon till 5:30 here is Concord off of RT #44.  I am looking forward to that one also!  Stop in and see my new products and see some of my other cards.

Scor-Buddy is FUN!

The new Scor-Buddy is so much fun and easy to use in your stamping area or to travel to your classes.  I love the way it just fits anywhere and does not have to take over a large area in your creative space.  It has all of the features of the larger Scor-Pal but it is smaller and has no fence on the left side so your paper can hang over.  The markings are easier to use and they are in increments of 1/4" except for the first and last inch where they are 1/8" apart.  This makes it so much easier to do all of those unusual measures we card makers like. And it comes with it's own case!

This card will be one of the cards featured in my August Mojo Classes so you can all get your hands on my new 'Buddy"!!!  I am loving it and you will too.  Be sure to ask me how you can get one too!  The set is one of my new favorites, 'Girl's Day Out'.We will be using it in more than one card for this class and they will not look alike either!

Check out my calendar here for times and dates of these classes.

I have been so busy but loving it all!  Cards are selling so fast I have to keep making more and I am trying to get the inventory ready for a new permanent location so I have been keeping my hands 'inky'.  Stop in to say 'hi' at one of my four Farmer's Markets I do each week and get some great fresh produce and see some of the new items in my line.  I now have coupon saver books, soap dispensers (also for hand sanitizer and lotions) that you can decorate for the season, and cup handles to decorate to hold your fast food beverages. Times and dates are on my calendar .... but if there is rain or threat I will not be going ... paper and water do not play well together!

Mojo & Open House

Wow .... where did the last week go!!!  I can not believe all I got done last week and how sucessful all of it turned out.  My big news is that I will be safer on the roads with my tables and stuff in my car next week ..... I will be getting my new Santa Fe on Monday!!  I love love love my PT but it was not able to hold all of the stuff I need to carry now doing so many show. Now I plan on adding a fourth to the week if I can keep the inventory of cards flowing too.  It has been exciting and fun trying to decide the best car for me now and I think I made the right decision.

Here is one of the card that we will be making in my July Mojo class this week.  I have a class on Sunday at two and have a few openings, Monday at 6 (I can also add classes on Tues if needed since some of my plans have changed) and Thurs at 7 if you are interested in attending please let me know as soon as possible.

This card was made using Blossoms & Blessings from TAC's new Inspiration Book.  I am so loving this set.  I colored it with Copic markers using three of the colors in TAC's new Caboodle E set.  I love the cut out petal floating down the front and the leaves in the background.  All of the cards this month are made using NEW TAC stamps so come join the fun!

Next Saturday, July 17 I will be hosting my annual Open House from 1-5.  You can stop in any time to make a project and join the fun.  If possible please let me know if you are attending so I know how many papers to cut.  It will be at my house this year so let me know if you need directions.  I have the new Inspiration Books ready for you and some great samples from seminar to share too.  If you can not attend on Saturday and still want to see everything let me know and maybe we can work something out for Sunday.

December Mojo Terrific Gift Tags

It's time for my last Mojo Class of the year ... December's Mojo will be a little different since I am focusing on gift tags in sets instead of cards. We will make five different sets with a different way to present each as a present, for a total of 20 gift tags! From a matchbook box with a card on top, to a free standing file box, to a folded folder with pockets and then two fast and easy ways to attach them together as a group. I am also going to focus on some ways to mass produce and make many items that are alike at the same time. If you are local I still have room in my Sunday afternoon class, Monday evening class and Wed afternoon class. Check my calendar on the side if you are interested. If you can not make these let me know and I will see what I can do. I also sell the Pdf file of my classes for people who are not local. This may be a great one to try if you have never taken one of my classes before.

I hope you enjoy your weekend and all of the sun we are having here in Cleveland. Hey, are the Cavs an awesome team or what!! They are really getting more and more fun to watch .. too bad Bull ... we got you this time but good. Blessings

Spring into April ....#3

Here are the last samples I have to share with you using the new Spring into April promotional sets from TAC. This on is called 'Sweet Thing' and is four of the cutest cupcake and two word stamps. I scored the background with my Scor-pal, this in a basic step for me anymore since I love the way it brings height and dimension to my cards. On this one I did a double line vertical every inch. The paper is again Lilly Anna SWIC and I also paper pieced the frosting or the cupcake with the pink. The bottom of the cupcake is colored with watercolor crayons and the Niji watercolor brush. The sprinkles on top are done with my Gelly Roll pens. These make them stand up a little more and give them a nice shine. I used the matching Lilly Anna ribbon collection for the green gigham bow. To get the scalloped end, I put a piece a paper through my scalloped circle punch like Heather showed on her blog with one the the tag punches. I really like this look ... do you???

If you are still interested in attending my April Mojo class please let me know soon, I do have two more classes planned and have a few more maybe who want to attend but can not come on those nights so I may be planning another one.

The sun is suppose to shine for the next three days and I am looking forward to that. Also I have to give a shout out for the Cleveland Cavs!!! I am an avid follower and am so happy they are doing so good ... we are going to bring home the title this year to Cleveland!!!! GO CAVS!!!! Blessings

Sneak peek March Monthly Mojo

I have tried everything so if anyone has an answer for me HELP!! I can not get these pictures in the correct direction .. they are rotated in the correct position on my desktop but not when I upload them here. Soooooo ..... you are all going to have to get your neck exercises today and twist, twist that neck to see the pictures correctly.
But HERE they are the sneak peek for March Monthly Mojo class. I have so many ideas for this class ready I am having a hard time limiting it to 6 cards ...... but I will and the rest will be added to another class later on. But for sure we will be doing a card using the new FREE Downloads from TAC, a gift card holder that can hang on a bottle, a birthday card, and an Easter card. The others I am still deciding on but you will love them!!!

Here are the times for my March Mojo class:

Fresh Spring Things

Wow ... TAC has a cute new promotion (and FREE downloads to match) right now called Fresh Spring Things. It is a new stamp set with cute little animals for the springtime, Gentle Beginnings DC and hardware to match! But the best is that it is only $19.95!! (full retail is $26.65) I will be putting an order in early next week if you want to take advantage of it!!

But the other good news is they have started a new area on their web site for free downloads. They have a great little download that matches this kit on there now for place cards. But I decided to print them off and have a little fun with them in cards. Here is what I came up with! I love how they turned out.

I used my Scor-pal to make decorative backgrounds and then ran a VersaMagic pad over the score lines for accent. I made 5 cards each with different looks for the backgrounds. I then cut out or punched out the images and designed the cards with scrapes I had of the Gentle Beginnings papers. I used different stamps on them for the words. My favorite words are TAC's free Gift with Purchase stamps to say Happy Easter! I highlighted the printed images with a glitter pen and I was done. They were so quick and easy to do! And the images are already colored and done for you ... all you need to do is to print them out .. now how easy is that.

I will be making a card with these downloads for my Monthly Mojo Class this month ... check my calender for the dates. Remember if you can not make one of these times let me know and we can work something out or if you are not local ... I do sell the directions.

I have two date today to share. On Friday, March 20 from 3-7 PM I will be at the Roly Poly in Mentor for an Open House for Serendipity!! Come pick up a quick healthy dinner and join me to view many of the projects from Escape, samples from my classes, and make a free make-n-take. Drop in anytime and stay as long as you would like. Check my calender for more details. If possible can you RSVP so I can get an idea of how many papers to cut. Thanks!!

Also, I have Faith Lutheran Church booked for my annual spring Stamp a Stack! Save the date, Saturday May 2 from 1-5! Have a great day and blessings.
