Spooky House Step Card

I am loving these Halloween dies from My Favorite Things Designs!  This step card was made with all their dies except for the label and the word stamp (I do not have words for Halloween from MFTD).  It is also one of my entries in a contest on their blog.  I made up a couple of these to sell this weekend.  If you haven't seen my banner yet made with this house and the new bat dies from Lawn Fawn you have to check that out on my Facebook page for Angelic Impressions, and hit the like button to follow me too.

Halloween Card in a Box - My Favorite Things

Isn't this Card in a Box great!!  I used the new Halloween dies from My Favorite Things Designs for the house, clouds, tree, bats, and moon.  I love it!!!   I will have it available this weekend at my Farmer's Markets to purchase and a few others with different papers.

Spooky Walk

I extended this side step card (die from Sizzix) by making the tree and leaves extend over the top which means putting it in a larger envelope but the postage is the same.  The tree is from Jillian Stamps, leaves a punch, ghost in back is an old Sizzix die, fence is Our Daily Bread Designs, grass is from My Favorite Things Designs and cat is from Little B.

Halloween fun

This is a double side step card die from Sizzix, a Bigz die which folds into an A2 card!  You can cut a few of these at a time with this type of die.  The skeleton is a new company for me called Echo Park, and they have a lot of stamps with coordinating dies in the same set.  This one has a skeleton, pumpkin, bat, spiders, small jar, 'boo', 'spooky' and a skull.  I have a few of their sport sets too amd am liking them.  The ghost is a very old Sizzix die, the fence is an Our Daily Bread Design, and the bats and cob web is from Little B (I use this set a lot!).

Pivot Cards Class

This is going to be a great class!!  I have been playing, making and selling the pivot cards all summer and have really been enjoying them.  I am now ready to have a class using the Elizabeth Craft Design Dies to make this type of cards.  I will be showing you in class a slide show of cards I have made and already sold to give you more examples too!  This is a first, I have a TV in my studio now!  This is a really cute Halloween card we will be making and it is quite detailed but as long as you can glue and work with small pieces you will be fine.  Below is the inside of the card.

In the class we will make 4 pivot cards: this house pivot, a simple tree pivot, a triple butterfly and a double the length of the Katie Label die card.  The last two we will be making envelops to match since they are larger cards.  I have added a few more classes for the following week since I know some of you were not able to attend this week.  Please let me know as soon as possible since there are some many dies I need to cut per person.  You will be all die cutting the basic card so you learn how to but I will have the embellishment pieces cut for you.  Hope to see you soon!

Happy Halloween!!

It looks like it will be a nice day for the treaters tonight but will be cold!!  I wanted to share with you another item I made to sell for the shows for Halloween. These are my Candy cards but made a little bigger and with Hot Cocoa inside instead.  I used by Cricut/Gypsy to cut the Top Note and the little spooky times for the front.  Then I decorated them with my rubber stamps and Halloween papers.  I loved the phrase ... Eat, drink and be Spooky for the front of them.  Then on the inside I also put a Halloween message but I guess I did not take a photo of that ... sorry.  I have a few let so I will be delivering them to the neighborhood kids today for their treat.

I want to thank everyone who came out yesterday for Crafts at the Mansion at Lakeland Community College yesterday.  I had a great day visiting with everyone!  It was an outstanding show for me and I now have a lot of work to do this week to get ready for the new three show which usually are my best ones of the year.  I am taking a little break right now before I finish up a job I am doing for one of my neighbors.  Hope to see more of you out this weekend at St Gabs in Mentor ... it is Friday night from 6-9 and Saturday 9-4. I will not be in my usual room so look for me in the gym. This is usually the BIG one of the year so I need to keep working this week to restock my supplies!  Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween this weekend.

Click Here for the link ..... then read about Mischelle entry ..... isn't it awesome!  Then scroll to the bottom to see little pictures of the other entries from many of my angel friends.  Click on the entries to see the their creations.  They all did fun-tastic work!!  Well done angels!!

Cricut and Ghost Cards

This is the same design as yesterday's post but with ghosts.  I used the same paper pad from Cloud 9 and the same Cricut Cartridge Everyday Paper Dolls.  I stamped the ghost with a retired stamp from The Angel Company called Curls and Swirls and added shaky eyes.

I will be home later today from a little trip I took with some friends of mine to Pittsburgh.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

Cricut and Monster Cards

I purchased a new pad of paper made by Cloud 9 the other day and had so much fun with it!  I made all kinds of Halloween cards using my Cricut and Gypsy.  The cartridge I used was Everyday Paper Dolls.  It has so much on it to use for all occasions.

The monster was stamped with a corner stamp from The Angel Company called Decorative Corners and the words are from a new sets called Spiders are Seen.  I highlighted the nose with a black gel pen and layered black paper on the underside of the eyes so it would show through.  I used this idea with many of the different printed papers in the pad and they all came out so cute!
The word stamp for the inside is from DRS stamps .... I love how they use images along side the words. And of course I added ribbon which is my embellishment of choice!!

Another folded frame

Here is another card using the folded frame idea ... but for this card I decided to cut the top of the card off to frame the folded frame.  I guess I am getting tired of making rectangular cards all of the time so I am adding some variety. I was thinking the other day that I must make about 100 or so cards a week ... that is a lot of  cards!

I used the same sets as yesterdays post but different stamps in them. The background paper is a retired TAC pad which I still love and I added a ribbon bow instead of floss.

Hope your weekend is going well for you!

September Mojo Classes

I just could not resist using orange, hot pink and black together for one of my Sept. Mojo Class cards.  This one has the folded frame they are featuring on one of my yahoo groups.  I made these when I first started to stamp with photos in the center and put magnets on them for the refrigerator.  Ideas just keep circling back in stamping.

I used the sets 'Background Soup' and 'Spiders are Seen'. I colored with my Copic markers and scored the frame with by Scor-pal.  I added floss with ribbon tied onto it for an embellishment.  This card looks so much better in person ... the colors are really awesome together!

Let me know if you are coming to my Sept. mojo classes this week as soon as possible ... we are doing Halloween, Fall and sympathy cards.

I had a really great show yesterday at Tri-Point Hospital.  There are not many vendors but we all do have a good time selling together.  I had make a few new items .... wine bottle boxes and tags to hang on wine bottles and I almost sold out of them.  Can you guess what I will be making this week?  I guess I need to take a few pictures of them and share them with all of you.

Thanks for stopping in ... I love to read comments but never seem to get any.
