Sneak peak ... take four

Here is another card in my series of polka dot cards using the set 'It's your day'.  This time I used colored papers to match the Copic markers I used to color her.  This is a great way to use up scrapes of paper and to add texture, color and dimension to a card.  I love the way this one came out.  The words I used inside the card are from the set 'Joyful Notes'.

Sneak Peek ... take three

This is one of the cards from my polka dot series for the AI gathering this coming weekend.  I used the TAC set 'Oh no she didn't' for the image.  The background is made by punching out circles in different sizes of white cardstock and gluing to the card front.  She is colored with my Copic markers.  I added a little Scor-bug and a ribbon with a knot.

So how are you liking the sneak peaks so far .....

AI Gathering Sneak Peaks .... two

The count down is on!!! Next weekend is our Angelic Impressions Gathering and I am really excited to share all of the projects with you.  This is a card from a series of three which show you how to use the same type of fold in different ways for different occasions.  This is the baby card from the series.  They all use the set 'A Little Something' .... which by the way is on the retirement list.  I will miss this set since it is so versatile with the ring of words, it as a great background stamp, small images to go into the circle and of course words too.

These are the other two we will be making.  If you are interested in this set be sure to get it ordered this week since the price will go up next week!

The electrical work has been completed for my hot tub now thanks to my niece's husband and their son. I am so blessed to have them in my family!!!  So as soon as the deck board are complete so I can get to the hot tub I can fill it and start to use it ..... wouldn't it be great if after the weekend I could come home to a relaxing hot tub!  We will see how it goes this week.

Be sure to check out the cards on Savvy Blogs 'A card a day for the month of May'!

More coloring with Copics

Here are two more of the cards I made using my Copic makers to color.  They were really fun to color!  For the top one I added mounting cushion under her one leg so it looks like she is jumping up in the air.
I really like the way this card came out .... more to come.

I had two really nice classed yesterday teaching the Gypsy.  It is a great tool for using with your Expression if you really learn how to use it correctly .... it can help you do so many things.  I love  mine and use it all of the time.  Next week I start my Copic classes.

I announced the date for my next gathering a few weeks ago ... it will be May 14-15.  I have not sent out any other information yet since it is not confirmed with Punderson yet (date is confirmed but other items we have not finialieze), but it will be similar to last year's event.  I am planning on having a class this year with four interactive cards that I feel would be better taught as a group instead of on your own on Friday night at seven.  This will be an optional class and will be priced at $15 over the gathering's cost. You do not have to take this class but I know some people travel far to come to these so I will offer it Friday night so they can come early and then rest well the night before the gathering.  This class will also be offer here in my home after the gathering too, BUT I will not be teaching any of the other projects as classes in my home after the gathering this year. Those coming to the class will be able to start the projects Friday night also if you would like after the class.  More will be announced in February but  I wanted to get this out for those of you who are traveling.  I have eighteen on my list that think they will be attending so far and I can only take 30.
