Recipe Books

This is my new take on an old favorite from my craft shows.  I have make 20 recipe cards into a book with my Bind-it-all and then decorated the front of the book.  The apron and  tools are a die from Our Daily Bread Designs and the stamps are too!!  I have all different colors and a few with a Christmas theme also.

Come visit me this Saturday at Lake Catholic Craft Show from 9-3.  I will be in the room next to the cafeteria.  Stop in and see all of the new items I have been making the last month or too.

Chilly Cloze Pinnie

Here is Chilly the Penguin as a Clze Pinnie!!  Isn't he cute!!  I have include a photo from the back so you can see the magnet on the back.  This die (Chilly) is from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the tag and snowflake are from My Favorite Things.  I can order any of these for you if you like them.  This would be great to close a gift bag and write your mesage on the card to slip into the bag with the envelope OR you can put a gift card (or money) into the card and gift this as a gift alone.  The recipient can then use the cloze pennie on the refrigerator, file carbinet, locker etc as a magnet to hold a photo, message, note etc.

I will be at Lake Catholic Craft Fair this Saturday from 9-3.  This year I will be in the room next to the cafeteria so be sure to go through the whole show so you see me!

Winter time Cloze Pinnie

This magnetic cloze pinnie (clothes pin) is made with spellbinders dies, the evergreen and pine cone are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the words are from Our Daily Bread Designs.  Here you are able to see the envelope clearer that is added with the note card.  Use these to close a gift bag or add money or gift card with your note as a gift in itselft.

Snowman Cloze Pinnie

Another cloze pinnie this time using the snowman die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and stitched circles from My Favorite Things.  Use it to close a gift bag or add a monetary gift to the envelope with note card as gift in itself.  See other posts for ideas.

Glitter Poppy the owl Cloze Pinnie

This is a more elegant version of yesterday's post where I used glitter paper for 'Poppy the Owl" from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  It is a clothes pen underneath with a magnet on the back .... can you tell it is hanging on my refrigerator!!  It can be used as a decoration for the holidays to add a recipe, photo or note to your file cabinet or refrigerator or locker!  It is holding a matching small envelope and note card that a gift card will fit into.  Use this for gifting a monetary gift or add it as the closure to a gift bag with the note card as a card inside.  Great small gift idea for giving your tips to your service people this holiday season.

Gift card cloze pinnies - Santa Owl

New items alert!!!  This will be a new item that I am making to sell at my fall craft shows this year (see my dates above under 'Where to find me').  It is a magnetic clothes pin (cloze pinnie) decorated for the holidays with a small envelope and note card the size of a gift card attached to the clothes pin.  These would be great to use on a gift bag to close the top and then use the note card for a card enclouser OR as a gift itself with a gift card or money added OR just as a small gift to gift to someone special without anything but your kind words added.  For this one I used the 'Poppy the owl' die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the 'Stitched Circles' from My Favorite Things Designs.  The Santa Hat is a stamp I have had for a while which is cut out and off or an Snoppy image.  I will be posting more for you to see this week.

How exciting!!!!!

I received an email this morning telling me I was selected to be the featured stamper on ODBD's blog and Splitcoast Stampers today!!!  It's that exciting news!!!   The second photo was the card that was selected.  We made this at my Stamp-a-Stack last Sunday.   The woman all make 15 cards, three of each of five designs, and this was one of the designs.  I also had the (top photo) stepped-up version of this card in the basket so they could make it more detailed at home later by coloring the image and adding greens above the words.  I thought since this card was selected I should post the stepped-up version of the card on my blog also.  If you need to make 50-100 cards for the holidays I would use the second card but if you only need a few then you can spend more time on them and step them up a notch.

Thanks to ODBD and Splitcoast Stampers!
