Frosty Memories

I have been going to town making items to sell for my biggest craft show of the year this weekend. I great friend of mine gifted me with some gorgeous papers and I just had to make this book from one of the sheets!! The book is 8.5 by 8.5 and I used the Bind it all to put it together. All of the decorative paper in the book is from ONE SHEET of 12 x 12 paper!! Yes, I cut it in such a way it is used throughout the book. The cover was the first cut and all I added was the title!! Isn't it beautiful.
Then I cut the parts left in such a way as to accent the edges of the pages of the book. I used some of my retired TAC images for the embellishments.
This is the upper right hand corner of the paper and I put the stamp 'brrrr' on the top for accent.
Here is another corner with the sled. The opposite top corners are the over half of this square and they have swirls and snow in the paper so they accent to top of the pages.
Some of the edges I stamped snow flakes and added one of my retired TAC images of a deer to them in Charcoal ink.
This is the inside front cover and I cut the parts of the paper with the trees into two pieces, this one and one on the opposite page edge. I added ribbons to the binding and it was done! It looks so much better in person since it has glitter, shimmer and sparkles in the paper. I love it!

This weekend, tonight and all day Saturday I will be at St. Gab's in Mentor for their craft show. Next weekend at Lake Catholic HS in Mentor and the following weekend at St. Pasquale's in Richmond Heights. Stop in to visit if you can. I love to see people I know.

Have a wonderful weekend and blessings to all.

Bind it all & Cricut Mini Books

I just am having so much fun with my Cricut and Gypsy!! Here are a few mini books I will be selling at my craft show in the next few weeks. This one I used Gypsy Wanderings, Weddings and not sure about the words .. but I did use my Gypsy to weld them together. I did not have the color of pink paper I wanted for the words so I cut them in a lighter pink and colored over them with my Copic markers.
This one I use Gypsy Wanderings and again welded for the dress.
Here I used Animal Kingdom and Graphicly Speaking and a few more for the images inside of the book. They are so much fun to make. I sure hope people like them at the shows and buy them! Yes, I will show you my cat one too ..... I did not do only dogs.

My next show will be this Sunday Nov 1 at the Irish American Center in Euclid which is on Lakeshore Blvd. It starts at 10 ... stop in to see me if you can. Blessings

Holiday Stamp-a-Stack

Sunday was my annual Holiday Stamp-a-Stack, 350 cards were made that day!!!! Some made 20 and some 30 of ten different designs. That's a lot of cards. The cards I hope are simple, smart and sophisticated, the TAC way!! The top one used the Scor-pal and Scor-bug in an off set diagonal with Gingerbread Fun set from the new Avenue. It was colored with Copic markers and a clear gel glitter pen.
This card does not show up as nice as it really looks. It is a cream card with black glossy CS and a sheer and satin bow. It really looks elegant
Here I used the Peace set for the dove and colored with watercolor crayons for this basic gate card. The paper is Willoughby SCWC.
I love this traditional one with the PWP stamp for $2.95! It is a pull down card using the shopping bag die cut from my Cricut from Doodle Bugs. It is so simple but merry!!

It was such a nice to see so many of my stampers. Some of my stampers only attend the SAS, others classes only, and some both. I saw friends I have not seen in a while and it was a good reminder as to way I love doing this type of work. It is the fellowship and the friends that become life long!! It is so rewarding to see everyone have fun, create, learn and just have a day away from the real world. We all need to escape and stamping is a great way to do that!! It is so much cheaper and more fun than a therapist! Thanks to all who attended and I look forward to the next one!! Blessings

Bag of Wishes!

Are tired of seeing these yet??? Well I have more. I do work during the day here at home ... can you tell??? The top ones used 'Curls and Swirls and 'Label Lingo' for the sets of stamps.
Oh .. did I mention I will be doing an Irish American Craft show on Nov. 1 from 10-4 in Euclid so I thought I would make a few sets look Irish. Come visit me if you can it will be my first time there.
I used a retired set called 'Background Bonanza' for these last few and the words for the shamrock card are from 'Blessings'. The present is just a rectangle of paper with a bow in it. Remember these need to be quick and easy!!! Blessings

More Bag of Wishes

** Reminder - If you are planning on attending my Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday Oct 25th from 1-5 please RSVP and pay ASAP. I really do need time to cut and prepare for this ladies! Thanks!

Here are more of my Bag of Wishes cards I will be selling at my local craft shows this fall. The top two I used the stamp sets 'Curls and Swirls' and 'Sea Creatures' (look at the bottom of the one on the right for the shells). I like to then stamp the envelopes with the same stamp I used on the card so they match.
Here I used the sets 'Ordinary Greetings' and Curls and Swirls' Here is a little tip for you also!! The cupcake and the hope with the flowers are all cut from solid pink paper and then I used my Copic markers to color parts of it so it looks layered! It is so much faster then doing a second layer and I really do not think you can tell. But be sure to check out the colors on scrapes of paper first.
Here I used 'With Sympathy', a retired set called 'Background Bonanza', and 'More Elegant Sayings'. The high heel is cut from black glossy card stock so it shines! Blessings

Bag of Wishes!

This year for my craft shows I am making Bags of Wishes to sell. I will be showing you a few of them in the next few posts. I made 8 cards with stamped envelops, all blank inside, of 2 designs of each and wrapped them like the picture. I will stand these up with my stamped cubes of paper which are another good seller of mine to display. I used three basic elements in each card:
  • scored background using the Scor-pal and Scor-bug
  • die cuts using the Cricut Expression and Gypsy
  • stamps from The Angel Company
In the top two I used the stamp sets 'Curls and Swirls' and Creative 'Impressions'

In the above two sets of cards I used 'Ordinary Greetings', 'With Sympathy, and 'Build a Background' stamp sets
In these two I used 'Label Lingo', 'Curls and Swirls, and 'With Sympathy. So if you are looking for ideas for quick and fast card making these are your answer!! I will be posting more examples of them later. Have a great weekend! Blessings
