Cute Elephant Double Dutch card

This double dutch fold card has a pocket at the bottom for gift cards etc.  The elephant stamps are from Wplus(, the ballon and gifts are from Simon Says.  I love the words inside ..."from one gray wrinkled thing to another."  I colored with Copic markers.

Day at the Beach

Gift card cloze pinnies - Santa Owl

New items alert!!!  This will be a new item that I am making to sell at my fall craft shows this year (see my dates above under 'Where to find me').  It is a magnetic clothes pin (cloze pinnie) decorated for the holidays with a small envelope and note card the size of a gift card attached to the clothes pin.  These would be great to use on a gift bag to close the top and then use the note card for a card enclouser OR as a gift itself with a gift card or money added OR just as a small gift to gift to someone special without anything but your kind words added.  For this one I used the 'Poppy the owl' die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the 'Stitched Circles' from My Favorite Things Designs.  The Santa Hat is a stamp I have had for a while which is cut out and off or an Snoppy image.  I will be posting more for you to see this week.

Graduation in Mojo Class

Here is the second card we will be using the Tim Holtz's Marker Spritzer in but this time with a stencil!  It makes it so easy to use stencils.  We will be making our own graduation cap too.  If you do not need a graduation card we can make it into a birthday card instead!  It even has an place inside to put an monetary gift!  Le me know if you are coming to class this week.

Isabella Loves Ice Cream

I used this set for a card for this months Mojo class but loved it so much I wanted to make a few more.  I used words from the Hampton Arts Birthday set on the outside and words from other Stamping Bella stamps on the inside.  The girl is called 'Isabella Loves Ice Cream' from Stamping Bella.  I love the words with this bella!!!  And yes ... more of the splat backgrounds using the Tim Holtz Stains.

'Try'-fold Cards Class

I have been playing with these 'Try'-fold stamp sets from Art Impressions for months!  I enjoy the versatile of the sets which have three matching scenic stamps in each set.  Click here to see all of the sets. (They have some new ones out but they are not on their web site yet)  This card uses the set named 'Garden' and is a Gated Step card from my Fabulous Fold Class.  This class I designed, 'Try-Fold' Fun, has three cards from my Fabulous Folds class and to regular A2 card which are quick and easy (no coloring).  The three folding cards have three images in each card that need colored so if you are planning on attending this class please contact me about getting the images to color & cut prior to attending the class.  That way we will have time to make all of the cards.  I will also be showing other cards you can make with these sets.

Aug Mojo

Here is the masculine card we will be making for the Aug Mojo Class this month. The stamps in this card are from My Favorite Things, 'Up Up and Away'.  The balloons are colored with Copic markers and the sky is make with Tim Holtz Distress inks.  It is a great masculine card for any occasion.

Aug Mojo Time

 

Mojo time again .... this card is really fun to make and easy too!!  It features one of the Uptown Girl stamps from Stamping Bella colored with Copic markers.  I did the out of the box technique so her skirt sticks out of the rectangle.  The background is made with Tim Holtz Stains (daubers) hit hard on the paper to make this great drip or splatter look!  It is fun to do and relieves some stress at the same time!

Mojo is a great class to learn or review techniques and make five all occasion cards at the same time.  This month we will be making this birthday card, a masculine card, a sympathy card, a get well card and a fabulous fold card.  Check out my calendar for the times and dates and let me know if you are interested in attending. 

Hero Arts - Birthday set

These two cards were made with the Hero Arts Birthday set.  They are colored with Copic Markers and embellished with Wink of Stella Glitter pens, ribbons, Scor-pal and background stamping.

Uptown Girls - Girls want to have fun

This card was made with the same set as yesterday's post but I only used the girls legs!  Then I colored them many different skin colors and colored the shoes with different colors of Copic glitter pens in different ways.  I love the way it came out! The words are from a retired TAC stamp set.

We made a card similar to this one in last month's Mojo Class.  This one has the dresses paper pieced and the girls are colored in with Copic markers.  I used Copic Glitter pen for the sandels & wine.  Stamps are by Stamping Bella.

The above two are using the same stamp but only the top part.  I used Viva Pens to make the pearls along the side.  These pens are great to get lots of different sizes of pearls at very little cost.  They come in many different colors ... here I used black on the top and pearl on the bottom cards. 

Uptown Girls - Opal the Optimist

Sorry I have been gone for a while, I had some computer challenges but all is better now!  I have been enjoying the Stamping Bella stamps 'Uptown Girls' lately.  This set is called Opal the Optimist.  They are so cute and easy to color and work with.  I used my Copics on this card and the one below.

 

For this one I only used half of the stamp!  Aren't they fun .... more to come!

Wedding cards

Here are a few more cards I made with the Hampton Arts wedding set.  I colored the image with Copics, cut it out, added Wink of Stella Glitter for accent, and then layered on an embossed layer and layered again on to a second color.

 Here is another done in the same manner in different colors and a different image.

More Wine Tags

 Here are more of my wine tags that I have  been making ... I guess I should make a few with different papers but these looks so great with wine.  The stamp & die set again is from Stampendous (My Favorite Things).

Wine Tags

Wine items sell well for me at my markets so I have been making up some wine tags to sell.  All of these are made with the same stamp set & die set called 'Let's Toast' from Die-namics (My Favorite Things). What do you think?  Will they sell?

All of these dies for the little wine glasses and three tags are included with all of these words for wine drinkers.  It is great!!!

I used retired paper from The Angel Company, Copic makers for the wine in the glasses, various punches and ribbons and Distress ink for the shading.  I know you can not see it, but the wine and the flowers have been brushed with a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and it gives them have a great shimmer.  I am so loving this new way to add glitter.  It is light and shimmery and the more layers you add the more it glitters.  I can get any of these supplies from you if you are interested.

June Mojo - That's How We Roll

 This card will be one of the cards made in my monthly Mojo Classes next week.  Check my calendar (tab on the top of this page) for the dates and times. Then send me an email if you are interested in attending.  You can see the list of supplies, class discription and who is attending if you click on the link for each class.  The stamp set I used is from Unity.  It is an Easel Card so it stands up on it's own.



This is how it looks from the side view.  The embossing folders I used is from Sizzix and I colored it with Copic Markers.

Elegant Weeds

Here I used only part of the stamp in three different positions, colored them with Copic Markers, layered them and added clear glitter pen. The middle one is raised and they are all added to a printed paper with an added strip of textured paper and a bow.  I wish I would have stamped the words up on the textured paper.  I love how versatile this stamp set is.  Let me know if you are interested in getting any of these products.

 Time for Mojo classes next Tues and Wed!!!  In this month's class we will be making the above center step card using the new pussy willow stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs, a cascading card, a diagonal double gated card, a open double gated card and one other card.  It will be a full and fun class! I have had a busy week or so .... I will share a few pictures in the next few days of one of the events that really excited me!!! 

I have taught my Fabulous Cards Class 5 times so far, yesterday to a group of 10 woman in Hudson!!!  It was a great class!!!  Thank you gals!!  If you have not taken it and are still interested, let me know and I will be having more of them after the gathering in May.
