Nov Mojo Time!!!

Yes it is time for Mojo Class again!!  Please let me know if you are coming as soon as possible since this is my busiest time of the year and I need to get prep done.  We will be focusing on Christmas for Nov mojo class with four Christmas cards and one gift card holder with envelope.  That is what I have photos of today.  Is measures finished in envelope 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" and as you can see in the second photo it looks like a gift when you present it.  The cover is made with all dies from My Favorite Things.  Love love love that  snowflake die cut!!  It is so beautiful no matter what paper I use to die cut it from.  The inside of the card is shown below.  It has a place for you to write your message and a place to add a gift card.  I love the new die cut from My Favorite things that has the dies to add the slips for gift cards in both directions.  It makes these so easy to make since they are both in one piece so you do not have to measure the distance between the slips before you die cut.

I have started up my Etsy store again to see what I can sell on it so check it out if you are not local.  I will be adding more and more to it this week and next so check back often.

This weekend I will be at the Gift of the Magi Craft Show at St Mark's Lutheran Church in Chesterland on Friday night from 7-9:30 and then on Saturday from 9-4.  Come check it out!

Here are a few more covered Candy bars I made for Craft shows this fall.  The penguin and owl die is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The cross and greens dies are from Our Daily Bread Designs.  The ovals and snowflake dies are from My Favorite Things Designs.  I make these with a ribbon around them so you can slip in a tip, money, check or gift card for a larger Christmas gift if you like.  I also have slipped a small gift card on the back so you can write a few of your own words.  These are a big seller and I have quite a few different styles.  Last show I had people ask me to have some thank you and inspirational ones made to go along with the Christmas ones.

Friday from 7-9:30 Nov 7 and Saturday Nov 8 from 9-4 I will be in Chesterland (RT #306) at St Mark's Gift of the Magi show.  Friday night admissions is $5 and it will be a wine and cheese night for adults only.  This is my first time at this show and I am looking forward to it.  Stop in and check it out and say 'hi'!

This is a snow and snowman card in a box using a snowflake punch on light weight silver paper, a snowman die cut from Elizabeth Craft Designs and metallic blue swirls from two different dies from My Favorite Things. The larger white snowflakes are from Our Daily Bread Designs as are the words in the front.  The other words on this card are retired TAC stamps.  I think I made four of these for my craft shows.

Card in a Box - Christmas Joy

My card in a boxes sold so well this summer and at my first craft show that I decided to make up some for Christmas.  This one uses dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs for the evergreen, ornaments and bows for the presents.  I used glitter paper for the ornaments and it really shines.  These cards fold flat to be mailed.  I have handmade envelopes for them and I have included a place on the back for writing your message and a place to add a gift card or monetary gift if you like.  I have made three of this one but have a few different styles to share with you this week.

Visit me this Saturday at Lake Catholic for a craft show from 9-3 or next weekend I will be at St Mark's Gift of the Magi on Friday evening and all day Saturday.  Stop in for a visit!!

Wedding card

I was making up a few new wedding cards this week.  This one is using paper  from Wild Rose 'Wedding Bells', die cut from Die Versions (one of my favorite dies!), and words from Heartfelt Creations.  I used colored Wink of Stella Glitter Brush pens to color the white die cut.  You can do this die cut in so many different ways!  And then I added Opal Viva Pens for the pearls.

St Pasquale craft show is this weekend from 9-4 so be sure you come visit me!

Thanks cards

Everyone needs thank you cards, so I made up a few quick ones to sell this weekend at my craft show at St Pasquale, Saturday March 22, from 9-4.  Hope to see some of you there!  I have lots of items for Easter; new wedding, anniversary, graduation, get well and thanks cards; and other items as I have been showing earlier this month on my blog for my last show.

These two cards are made with a fun new word stamp set called 'Pretty Phrases', 'Botanical 2' and 'Calico' all from Paper Smooches.  See the sets below.  This company has some fun word stamps with great script writing and stamps to build your own designs.  Let me know if you see any thing you like and I will order it for you.  The die I used for the vase is called 'Bottled Up' from Avery Elle and the technique I taught in my March Mojo and will be teaching in my Dynamic Distress Stains classes.  The Dynamic Distress Stains class is a class where I teach 32 different techniques on how to use the Tim Holtz Stains in your card and craft projects.  We make a tech book. Let me know if you are interested.

I am loving these flower stamps from Stacy Stamps!  They are so easy to color with Copic markers due to the great shading and are so realistic.  These are some of the note pads I made for my shows this year.  The words are by Heartfelt Creations.  If you are interested in purchasing any of these stamps let me know since I do sell the stamps also!

Clip boards

Next Saturday, March 10, I will be at my first craft show for 2012.  I will be at St. Pasqual's in Highland Heights for 9-4.  Hope you will be able to stop by and see some of the new items for this year.

Here are a few of the clip boards I made.  I love the rustic look they have.  Stamps for these are by Our Daily Bread. Clip boards can also be used for photos also.  These have a metal ring that pulls out at the top so they can be hung.

I am so excited that my Angelic Impressions Gathering SOLD OUT in one month! We will have 35 stampers at the Red Maple Inn in Burton Ohio the weekend of May18-20.  This is the fastest it has ever sold out.  Now I can spend my time designing, writing directions, cutting, packaging and planning all of the fun projects we will be doing.  Thanks ladies!

Popcorn is a Gift

Maybe some of you remember last year I shared with you my snowman popcorn holders that sold so well at my craft shows ..... well here are the new ones I have been selling this year!  These have a microwave popcorn inside for a little gift and a place on the back to put a gift card, money, check or a move ticket would be nice too.

These are cut from my Cricut Expressions and on this one I used glittered paper.

Here is a picture from the back.  I include a little note card for you to sign and leave your greeting also.  If you are liking these I have them on sale in my Etsy store and will show more in the next few days.

My Stamp-a-Class Christmas classes have been going on this week and I still have one more on Sunday.  If you missed them and would still like to attend one let me know and I will see what we can do.

Card packs to sell

Many of you have asked me about the cards I sell in packs .... so here are the facts.  I try to keep the designs quick, easy and appealing to the eye.  The top picture is a few of the sets I made for thank you cards.  Notice I try to get some more masculine and some more feminine to appeal to all.  I sell them in packs of four with envelopes for $7 which is $1.75 a card or 3 packs for $18 which is $1.50 a card.

Here are a few of the sympathy cards.  I try to focus on thank you, sympathy, celebrate (which can be used for promotion, engagement, new member in family, birthday, etc), thinking of you, birthday and Christmas.

Here are a few of the designs for celebrate and birthday and etc.

These are a few of the Christmas cards which are the only ones I put a greeting on the inside and am sure to stamp the envelope.  I usually make 3-4 packs of the same design for the Christmas cards.

Here is how I store them .... you can probably not see in the photo but I do have a piece of blue paper between each type as a divider so I can quickly put them on the card rack or find what I need.  So far I have 51 packs made which is a total of 204 cards.  If they do not sell them all I can always add more detail to each of the cards with ribbons, scoring, and embellishments and sell then individually.  Christmas cards become the ones I send out ..... with a few more embellishment.  And I can also give them to a charity too if they do not sell.  So this time of year I try to make up quite of few packs.

If you are interested in joining us for the Cards for a Cause on Sept. 28 either at one or six for about 2 -3 hours, let me know.  We will be making cards for Hospice of the Western Reserve and can use all kinds of help.  Please let me know if you are planning on attending and the time.  We have a good time!

Mini brag books

Here they are .... I have been asked by my customers to make mini brag books to carry photo with them in their purse .... well here they are.  I got the idea form Vickie H a former angel with TAC.  She had received my trades at seminar this year and sent me her trades.  I changed the dimensions a little to make it more practical and easier to make but the idea is basically the same.  No stamping on them ... no these ... I decided to leave them plane so people could use them for what ever occasions they wanted. Notice how they fold out and then have three panels that open to hold more photos .... hey .... I think we made these a few years ago at a winter leadership in TX out of felt .... yea we did.  Here is a close up ...

I think they came out real cute.  How about you?

These and a few other ideas are what I am getting prepared for my fall craft shows which will be here real soon!
