Bears Side Step Card

I took the same look from yesterdays card for this card but put in bears and a different color combination. I cut these with my new Scan and Cut2 machine.  This is a great machine if you can take the time to learn it and have patience with it.  I can cut out most all of your stamped images for you!!

Products used from: My Favorite Things Designs (bears, presents, balloons), Copic Markers,  My Favorite Things Design (grass), Sizzix (side step card base die), Wink of Stella

Borthday Bears Step Card

This step card was made with the cute set Birthday Bears by My Favorite Things Designs.  I put a whole family, mom, dad and two cubs on the card with all of the extras in the stamp set too.  The bears were stamped on brown paper and then highlighted with Copics markers.  The grass is from My Favorite Things Designs and words are stamped on the inside from the same set.  I am entering this in a contest from My Favorite Things Designs, check out their blog for details.  I will be selling this card at market this weekend.

Spooky Walk

I extended this side step card (die from Sizzix) by making the tree and leaves extend over the top which means putting it in a larger envelope but the postage is the same.  The tree is from Jillian Stamps, leaves a punch, ghost in back is an old Sizzix die, fence is Our Daily Bread Designs, grass is from My Favorite Things Designs and cat is from Little B.

Center Step - Birds on a Wire

Please forgive the next batch of photos, I forgot to take them at home so I took them at my market with my iphone.  The photos are not too bad but the backgrounds are really busy, sorry.  This is a center step card made from a Sizzix die.  It will be fun to play with since it has ALOT of extra dies to decorate it with.  The ones here are not from the set, I have not had the time to play with them yet.  I decorateded it with the leaf vine die from Our Daily Bread Designs, small flowers and leaves from Birds and Bloom collection of Heartfelt Creations, and the birds on a wire die from Die-namites.

I now have a Facebook page, ritasangelicimpressions, where you can go to see what I am making to sell.  Please go and 'like' me if you want.

Sizzix side step die

I love making and selling interactive or unusual cards.  This one I made from Sizzix's Side step die which includes the card base, many many flowers, leaf, rectangles for all the steps, embellishment dies and the layering side steps.  This die is one of the most versatile I have seen in a long time since the dies can be used in so many different ways.  This card was cased right off of the label, which is something I never remember doing before!!

August Mojo Classes

Where does the time go???  It is time for August Mojo Classes.  This month we will be making this easel card with Our Daily Bread stamps, 'What's the Scoop?' and embossing paste to make the ice cream have a 3D appearance.  It really looks great up close.  You can die the embossing paste also if you want a color but I wanted a vanilla cone!  We will be making four other cards (total five cards) in this class with printed directions with envelopes included.  Please let me know if you are planning on attending as soon as possible.  Check the calendar at the top for the dates and times.

Pop up box card cheers

I have been making and selling a lot of these pop-up box cards.  This one is a birthday/celebrate card.  On the back is a place to write a message and slip a monetary gift.  I used die cut stars with glitter paper, balloons and a large swirl for the pop ups on clear stripes of paper for different heights.  I do have to make special envelopes for these out of card stock for size and to add protection for the card.  Come visit me at Willoughby's Farmer Market on Saturday mornings form 8-12 AM if you want to see them live.

October Mojo Class

Fall is really here!!  Time for October Mojo next week.  Check my calendar above to see the dates and times.  Be sure to email me if you will be attending as soon as possible.  We will be making two Halloween (one can be fall) and three other cards.  This one is a fun pop open card with ghosts .... oh so scary!!

Here is the front of the card.  I love it and it is so easy to make!!

I just got home from a wonderful vacation to the New England states via a bus tour.  I am so energized with new colors and ideas to design with ... I can not wait to have time in my studio.  Come to a class to hear all about my amazing trip and maybe see a few photos.
