It's Tuesday so that means TNT - Tune in to Tuesdays with TAC! This week we have Debra Miller featuring Masculine cards, you can click here to see her great work and others. Make your card and add it to the linky!! Making masculine cards has been many a card makers hardest challenge ... but it shouldn't be. Look for images that do not yell out female ... animals, nature, tools, machines, technology, cars, sports etc. .... NO flowers, dresses or cutesy cute images. Then go for neutral color selections like naturals, earth tones, blues, grays, greens, NOT pinks and pastels, and create like always. Keep away from filly bows, crystals, glitter and gems instead reach for brads, eyelets, jute, knots, and hard wear of all kinds.
In my card I use an image from the set 'Cheers to You', which is a St. Pat's Day set, but the beer mug is all year for me! I colored it with my Copic markers and die cut it with Nesties Labels 9 in a frame. Adding some scraps of Amberly Grace and some scoring with my favorite tool, my Scor-buddy. I cut the top right edge of the card off 1/2" and added some Amberly Grace on the inside so it shows on the outside. The ribbon knot was colored with my Copics to match the colors of the beer.
Next Tues you will get to see more of my work and I will be doing a few tutorials for all of you on TNT-Pastels.
Don't forget the end of the month is coming and some of TAC's specials will be over .... like the SOTH 'Good Times' discounted with a $30 purchase, all sets with a four legged animal and a flower are 25% off, the Blast from the past set 'Angel Square', and two new Cardmakers Kit Combos. All of these are only to the 31st of March so don't wait till the last minute to get them.
What a week so far .... Sunday I started to prep my family room so I could start painting. It is taking me a while since I keep cleaning and going through things ... like what to do with VHS tapes anymore??? But then my repair man called and wanted to start demolishing my deck on Monday morning. That was fine but left me with so many decisions my mind started to spin .... what to do? But it will all work out. He is out there now hammering away and my next task is to edge the ceiling and paint that today. If I can get that much done today I will be happy!!! Wish me luck.

Let's Interact
Let's Interact is a new class I am teaching starting the first week in March with four interactive cards in it. This one is a stand up slider card using the TAC set 'Treasure Found'. I am loving this card! I like the way the Sizziz textured folder matched the giraffes so well. It folds down to fit into a A2 envelope. I used Copic to color them.
This one is a fun double slider card. I used the set 'Anchor to the soul' and cased the front from a project in the Inspiration Book.. There are two more cards in this class that are just as much fun. Check my calendar (above) for dates in early March. This class will also be taught on May 13 at seven at Punderson State Manor before my gathering. Those taking it then will be able to start their projects after the class. I will be going to sign the contracts for the gathering today and will have more information out later today or Tues.
You make February Fabulous is going on on the Savvy Project Blog but I do not have the set today and no time today to design with her designs. I added the link so you can see the great projects Debra Miller made with this set .... and it is a Level C Hostess set but since she is featuring it today it IS INCLUDED in the 25% off sale for this month. Yes you can purchase this set!
My projects go live tomorrow!!! I will be using 'Be Lifted"!! I am so excited!!

Fundamental Frames
I have used this set, Fundamental Frames, for basic frames before but last week I sat down and played .... I mean really played with this set and this is what I came up with .... it is NOT just for frames! I was in the black, red, white and gray mood so I stamped a frame as a center border on this top card. Then I added a mounted 1 1/4" black circle with a flower colored and cut out from the 'Hello' set. Did a little scoring, added a ribbon and words, 'Love You' set, and I was happy with the results!
Here is a close up of the focal border .... OH I forgot .... I added red Stickles to the centers of the flowers on the frame.
For this card I stamped the frame three times, twice in black and once in gray and cut them out. Then layered the gray one on black and cut again. I wanted to make the frame look larger so I added the two underneath it for a larger focal point. Hey .... check out the flower .... it was a cream flower with green dots ..... now it is a red one with ???? colored dots. It worked! I colored it with a Copic marker.
I measured the width of the frame and then scored my card that size with my Scor-pal. It made it easier to stamp the frames inside. I added a length of embossed white CS ..... scrape laying on my desk from another project ..... with a layer of white and stamped the frame again in black. This time I layered it on red and then black and mounted it to the cards. I added a bow as a finishing touch.
Can you find the frame stamp???? I hide it!! I stamped the smallest frame in gray, red and black ink twisting it a little each time to get this great medallion look. I added a mounted black circle in the center for depth, scoring and words.
Here you can see the frames better ... Now what can you do with this set??? It really is more that a frame set if you are up to playing a little. Remember each of the sets that are featured this month plus all of the sets with hearts in them are 25% off!!
Now go check out my good friend Yuki's take on this set on Savvy Projects Blog. Her work is amazing and if there is anyone I know it is Yuki who will take these stamps and make them more than just frames. Oh I forgot to mention .... there is a Nestie set that goes along with these stamps also .... I forgot about it when I was playing ... but I really like to cut so it was fun playing any way.

Watercolor Plants
Today my good friend Holly is the featured stamper with You make February Fabulous and she selected one of my all time favorite sets 'Watercolor Plants'. You can see her and others great creations HERE! For my first card I sued some of the scrapes on my stamping table from the Emma SWIC and Rich Cocoa and Potters Clay Memento Inks. I stamped, double stamped and triple stamped one of the plants in each of the colors to make it look like a field for flowers. I love this look!
I added a ribbon at the bottom to the layered images and stamped the words in Noir Palette Ink from the set 'Love you'. This is for sure a quick and easy card to make!
My second card I Score the white card stock on the diagonal in both directions with a double line and then stamped the little butterfly .... opps ... I thought that stamp was from this set but it is NOT. Not sure how it got into that CD case ..... in both red and lavender Memento Ink. I layered it on an embossed dotted lavender card stock. I then added a touch of yellow Stickles at each intersection.
I punched out two scalloped hearts and stamped the flower in the back with lavender and the words over it in red ink. The yellow Stickles is also added in the centers of the flowers.
Again a very simple and easy card to make .... now I need to find the correct home for that cute little butterfly!!!!!

True Beauty
I am a day behind with TAC's You Make February Fabulous Event & Contest but since I do not have today's set I can catch up. Be sure to visit Savvy Projects Blog to see Chelsea's great cards using 'The Places we can go' today. And be sure to click on the thumbnail links at the bottom of the post to see more creations ... hey ... add your own too!!
The set I am featuring today is 'True Beauty' which has four larger postage style stamps which have butterflies in them. Christine featured it yesterday HERE for you to see more samples with this set. She make some really bold colored beautiful cards which are awesome! You can see on my first card that I stamped the image first as a background and then colored one of the butterflies and cut it out to add as an embellishment.
The words are from the hostess set 'Love You' which is one of my go to sets for words. You can see the Copic colors I used to color it in the photo above. The butterfly is attached with mounting cushion close to it's body so it looks like it is flying. I scored the background before I stamped it for a little more interest.
For my second card I scored the background with my Scor-pal every half inch and added a die cut that really was a mistake I had cut out with them Cricut. I save these and figure out a way to use them for other projects ... I think this one is so large it will be in three different projects!
I colored the image with Copics, sorry I did not save the colors I used since I was coloring and cooking my dinner last night at the same time. It is mounted on black cardstock before attached to the red die cut. I used my Crop-a-dile to punch two holes to add a bow in the middle of the card. The words are from another set I use a lot called 'Ordinary Greetings.'
Like everyone else .... THE winter storm has shut down the whole city ... I have not seen anyone out on my street all day. It is cold, snowy and lots and lots of ice. My Gabby was actually walking on the snow and not falling in right away since it is so thick .... then it would scare her when one foot would sink into the snow. The temps when up to 40 earlier and melted some of the ice but it is dropping again and re-freezing this afternoon which will be a problem. Stamp warm everyone and stay stamping!!
Now start hopping to see what others have done ...

September Mojo Classes
I just could not resist using orange, hot pink and black together for one of my Sept. Mojo Class cards. This one has the folded frame they are featuring on one of my yahoo groups. I made these when I first started to stamp with photos in the center and put magnets on them for the refrigerator. Ideas just keep circling back in stamping.
I used the sets 'Background Soup' and 'Spiders are Seen'. I colored with my Copic markers and scored the frame with by Scor-pal. I added floss with ribbon tied onto it for an embellishment. This card looks so much better in person ... the colors are really awesome together!
Let me know if you are coming to my Sept. mojo classes this week as soon as possible ... we are doing Halloween, Fall and sympathy cards.
I had a really great show yesterday at Tri-Point Hospital. There are not many vendors but we all do have a good time selling together. I had make a few new items .... wine bottle boxes and tags to hang on wine bottles and I almost sold out of them. Can you guess what I will be making this week? I guess I need to take a few pictures of them and share them with all of you.
Thanks for stopping in ... I love to read comments but never seem to get any.

Halloween is coming ...
so I am getting cards ready to sell! Here is one of them using an image from new TAC set called 'Spiders are Seen'. The paper is retired from TAC but I still LOVE it! I think the sentiment is a retired set also. I colored it with glitter pens and Copic markers.
I used my Cricut for the die frames with the cartridge 'Lacey Frames'. It has a lot of wonderful frames to use for card makers.
I will post another one tomorrow ... but first some good news!! I now have TWO store fronts that you can go to purchase my cards. I set up a card rack at Dona Bella Beauty Salon in Painesville on Main Street last Thursday. I took in 130 cards and hope to put more by next week to complete the variety. Please stop in and take a look! I also have them at Jenniffer & Co. in Mentor on Rt. 20.
This weekend I am working on a line I have had in my head for a long time and hope to have it out soon ... 'For Pet Lovers" I am so loving what I do!!!

August Mojo Classes
Here is another of the cards we will be making for my Aug Mojo classes next week. It uses the new set 'Girls Day Out' and the 'Rockin' Roxie' Matchbook Kit. Oh ... did I tell you that you get a Free Matchbook Kit this month if you purchase the set 'Spiders are Seen' which is a new set available from The Angel Company. I was inspired by a card I got in my trades from seminar ... sorry I do not remember who made it .... but it is a pocket card. I used the embellishments from the card kit on the card along with the matching Bazill papers.
Here is a close up of the boots with the tulips I colored with my Copic markers. And below is a picture with the insert removed. You can even add a gift item into the pocket if you wish.
I am actually doing three cards in this class with the words and smaller images from this set ... and I did not even use the main image. It is a really nice set for words and images both. I am having a lot of fun with it. Sunday I will post another sample.
I still have openings in my classes if you are interested please let me know as soon as possible. Check out the top of my blog for the calendar to see times and dates.
I did four (4) ... did I say four markets last week and it was so much fun meeting new people and sharing my products with people. I am so loving doing these. It was mighty hot though!!! I will be doing the same shows next week and then on the 27th I will be starting at the new Tri-Point Hospital Market from noon till 5:30 here is Concord off of RT #44. I am looking forward to that one also! Stop in and see my new products and see some of my other cards.

Blossoms & Blessings
I got my insipriation for this one from a paper bag I saw at seminar. All I did was stamp the open flower on white paper with Claret ink and then drizzling clear Stickles in swirled lines over it.
I added a greeting at the bottom using a FREE stamp called Thougts of You! It will be free until the end of July. Now you can not get any easier than that for making a card!
This one was made by a good friend of mine Lori Beck ...isn't it beautiful!!!! She used glossy white paper and direct to paper with an orange ink pad and then stamped the blossom in red and then black ink. The words are from a new set called Noble Notes ... which is a neat set too. Don't you just love the look of the black poka dot ribbon that Lori added!!! LOL Lori!!!
I will share more samples we made together tomorrow so come on back!
