Pivot Class - Doublelengh Katie Label

I am currently teaching a Pivot Card class using the dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs designed by Karen Burniston.  We will be making a basic tree pivot card, an elaborately decorated House pivot card, a triple butterfly pivot card and this doublelength Katie Label Card in the class.  In other words I teach the basic and various ways to use the same dies to make different types of cards.  This card makes the area to decorate, Katie Label , larger for bigger images, view a regular card in this  post.

The die cut 'Poppy the Owl' and 'All Season Tree' are also used on this card both by Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Check out my calendar at the top of this page to see when the classes will be.  If you can not attend one of these classes let me know and I will see if we can get another date.

Pivot Cards - Triple

Here is another of the cards we will be making in my Pivot Card class (Sunday post also in class).  All of the basic dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the pivot dies are made by designer Karen Burniston.  These cards are easy to make and fun to decorate but do take time to decorate.  This card uses the Butterfly Pivot Die which makes two butterfly (see this post) into a triple butterfly.  All of the dies can be used in this manner. Below is a pictures of the inside of the card.

I have added a few more classes for those of you who are interested in attending so check my calendar (above) for the dates and times.  There are two more cards and I will post another one on Wed.  I also will have other samples for you to view in class of ways to use these dies.  Let me know as soon as possible if you are interested since it takes a lot of time to do all of the die cutting!  You do the basic card die cutting in class though so you learn how .... I will do all the decorative pieces. 

Pivot Cards Class

This is going to be a great class!!  I have been playing, making and selling the pivot cards all summer and have really been enjoying them.  I am now ready to have a class using the Elizabeth Craft Design Dies to make this type of cards.  I will be showing you in class a slide show of cards I have made and already sold to give you more examples too!  This is a first, I have a TV in my studio now!  This is a really cute Halloween card we will be making and it is quite detailed but as long as you can glue and work with small pieces you will be fine.  Below is the inside of the card.

In the class we will make 4 pivot cards: this house pivot, a simple tree pivot, a triple butterfly and a double the length of the Katie Label die card.  The last two we will be making envelops to match since they are larger cards.  I have added a few more classes for the following week since I know some of you were not able to attend this week.  Please let me know as soon as possible since there are some many dies I need to cut per person.  You will be all die cutting the basic card so you learn how to but I will have the embellishment pieces cut for you.  Hope to see you soon!

Birthday Pivot Card

 Yes more of the pivot cards .... I have made so many and they sell as fast as I make them!!  This one is used stamped words by Our Daily Bread Designs and the little flowers are by Elizabeth Craft Designs.  And the die to make the pivot card is from them also.  Here is the inside of the card.

Pivot Card Dotted Butterfly

For this pivot card I cut the same die twice one for the card front and a second time on a larger dotted paper to match the small dots and then layered them.  The inside of this card is the solid background craft and it looks really nice (forgot to take a photo of it sorry).  The large word stamp is from Paper Smooches and the flowers are one of my most used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Pivot Get Well Card

Here is another pivot card made with dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs by Karen Burniston.  I am having a lot of fun making and selling these cards!  It is easiest to use double sided paper when making them and they can be made in any size and at any position on your card front.  Below is a photo of the inside so you can see the pivot part.

I used a Spellbinder die for the foliage and an Elizabeth Craft Design die for the lady bugs.  The extra tag at the bottom right is so you can write your message and sign the card. 

Pivot Cards - Butterfly

I am really enjoying making these pivot cards using the dies by Karen Burntein through Elizabeth Craft Designs.  This is the butterfly die.  I sold this card in less than an hour after I put it on my table at Willoughby's Farmer's Market!  They are fun and pretty easy to make and the die can be used to make any size card (A2, A6, A9 etc.)  This one is an A2 card.  All of the additional butterfly dies come with the set.  I added the little flowers and leaves which are both Elizabeth Craft Designs also.  Below is the card opened so you can see the whole effect.

The words on the front are by Our Daily Bread Deisgns and the inside words are Hero Arts.  Remember I do sell all of the products you see used on my blog just email me and ask me about them.  I will be having a class on how to make these and different versions of these and the flip-it cards in Aug.
