Spring time ? ? ? ? ?

Is I here or not??? I love the Springtime Stamp Spring Supplement! set from TAC's I have been having so much fun with it. Here is another card using it with a tag from Amelia SWIC. I got the inspiration from the commercials for Ugly Betty .. check them out .. do you see the lines of trees? The top corner then I used my favorite tool, the Scor-pal and embossed 5 diagonal lines at 1/2 inch intervals and then used a dark green Tombow marker with the Scor-pal to add lines between the scored lines. Gorgeous Julliete Soar with It Collection

Every year I cover a new composition book and use it for my notes by the phone, things I want to get done and notes from places I go during the year. This year with my registration to TAC's Escape in San Antonio, they sent us half of a composition book! Isn't that a cool ideas .. it is a great size to carry in my purse, so I think I will get more use from this since it is smaller but not too small ... I know sounds strange. I covered it with our new Juliette Soar with It Collection on the front and back and then used a solid sheet on the inside of the cover. I put a large eyelet in the back cover and tied a ribbon though it for a bookmark. I wanted to decorate it more but the paper is so beautiful, I just kept it simple. I put a tag on the font and on both inside covers with ideas I wanted to remember a year long, from the 'Life is Short' set. It is one of the new sets from the Signature Series. "Our SS stamp collections contain words and phrases that will help you bless, encourage and speak words of life into the lives of others. Unique to the angle company, we believe these are at the core of what makes us who we are." That's a quote from our Inspiration Book and I really like it! I will be taking this with me to SA next week for notes. I really am pleased with how it turned out. Chocoholic ... are YOU???

I just had to share with your this gift I made for a friend of mine. I used Winchester SWIC from TAC and the matching Card stock. The sets I uses are Chocoholic (retired set), Whimsical Greetings and Ornamental Snowflakes. Can you tell I recycled many different things??? Their is a Victoria Secret Bag and a jar from Target! The gift includes a jar filled with chocolate (of course!), chocolate mint oil for a burner, and a Chocolate Root candle (I love Root candles!!)

I was running out of the printed paper so I started to use tags for decorations. The top of the candle is a round tag, the label on the candle is a tag with a ribbon run through and the label on the oil is a tag laced up in the back.

The best part my picture would not take .. I was in a hurry taking the pictures since I was going over to her home for scary movie night ... is the inside of the bag. There is a phrase on both sides of the inside that says 'Give me sexy" and I changed it to 'Give me (image of a chocolate kiss)'. I thought that was cute!!

Merry Wishes!

I just love this Collection of TAC papers, Merry Wishes Soar with it! I will be featuring them for a few days with some fun ideas for you. This paper pack is not just for the holidays, it can be used year round due to the versatile color palette. Here I have the cover sheet and a few of the projects i will be showing you how to make here on my blog! As a Christmas gift to you, all of them are very quick and easy.

To start out lets look at the small tag. You will need:

• 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" white Card stock
• One of the mini views of the papers on the cover sheet (Yes, I use everything!!)
• 3/8" x 2 3/4" scrap of Merry Wishes
• Triangular green scrap of Merry Wishes
• Trendy Greetings
  
• Cutter, Noir black ink, acrylic, Yes Glue
  

1. Fold the white card stock in half and crease.
2. Glue one the the cover squares to the front with Yes Glue
3. Glue the stripe of red and the green triangle to the front
4. Stamp the words 'Merry Wishes' on the inside.

Now isn't that fast and easy!! Now I have a great idea of what to do with these after you have a few made. I will post more later. Have a great day. Blessings

Coaster wall hanging

I made this for my daughter for her graduation from college. It is for her puppy, Thumper, the lighter colored dog in the pictures. My dog, Snickers, is the smaller black dog, who was put down the beginning of June. So I guess this was in honor of her too. The black cat is mine, Reno, and she is looking for a home if anyone wants her. I now have a new puppy, Gabby, and she is one year old. Today is her one week birthday with me!! She is so cute and lots of fun. I will post pictures of her later.

It is made of all coasters and has beads in between to give it different layers of height. I use TAC Soar with It, Sands of Times papers and Jumbo Java VersaMagic Ink. It was fun to make. I made another one for a prop swap for our Club Med luncheon but it wasn't as large as this one and was pink and very girly. I plan on making more and will take pictures of those too. My inspiration came from the HP printer ads where they show pictures in different layers. Hope you enjoy it.

Coupon Card

Here is a great card for Mother's day, a birthday or any time you would like to share your time and talents with a loved one. It is a Coupon Card! It is a simple fold using one of our Wing it or Designer Collection 8" printed papers. I am sharing the dirctions for this here but remember you can change the paper and it will change the look!

• One sheet Gentle Beginnings Designer Collection
• Three 3” squares white CS p. 220
  
• 4” sq. & three 1 x 3” Gentle Beginnings Designer Collection
• Noir Palette Ink p.232
• Sheer white ribbon, hole punch, cutter
• Glue, acrylics, bone folder
• More One Liners T-2093 p. 144
• Running Stitches T-2610 Fall Sup.
  
• Comic-Bet T-2576 p. 151
• Just Journaling T-2317 p. 160
• This is Me TC-2579 p. 250

1. With right side down, fold the 8” square in half in both directions and crease.
2. Place the openings at the top and the right side, fold the top (only one) 4” square on it’s diagonal to the inside to form the pocket.
   
3. Glue a 4” square on the other front panel, it may need trimmed a little.
4. Stamp the words on the bottom and inside, and border on inside and top in Noir.
   
5. Glue the card together (tops and right side) so it opens up but not out.
   
6. Punch two holes on the front pocket, run ribbon through them and tie a bow.
   
7. Using three 3” squares, glue a 1 x 3” paper on each one, stamp with ‘coupon, lines, stitching and word at the bottom.
   
8. Slip these into the pocket in the front.
   
9. After you have decided who will receive this card fill in the coupon for a special gift for each coupon like: foot massage, wash the car, fix your lunch, weed the garden, make your favorite dessert, clean a room, dinner out for two, home made mini album with your choice of theme!
   
   
   

Where is that bunny?? Winner???

This is my all time favorite Easter set! I love the No Bunny Like You set! Here is another sample using it and I will post a few more this week. What I like about it is that it is not just for Easter. The bunnies and the words can be used all year long. I just love that! This card has a window at the bottom punched with my circle punch and inside the bunny in the flower pot. On the front are all of the bunnies trying to climb out of the windows. It is quick and easy to color. I used my Prisma colored pencils here and my Grey Tombow marker for highlighting the white bunny. If you have never used this before it is great for highlighting white areas: bunnies, Santa's beard, snowman etc. It can also be used to go around the outside of an image, with very light strokes, to give the illusion of depth. I love to use it also for ground on standing images so they do not look like they are suspended in mid air. Are you making your Easter cards ... you need to get hem in the mail soon!

About a Girl

Here is a stamp-able album I picked up at Target a while back. I covered the front and back covers with Uptown Girl Wing It Collection papers. The black square in the middle is where you can slide a photo from the top into the cover. I then cut many of the different papers in this collection into different sizes and just kept putting them on the pages and stamping words with the sets About a Girl and Just Journaling.
It took about 2 hours from start to finish and it is ready for pictures to be added. It was that simple! Here are a few of the inside pages for you to see too. I think the ribbons tied onto the spiral adds a lot to the look too. I have a few more of these and I will make them up using different Wing it papers as I have time to sell.

My stamping room has been a total mess this last week with the craft show and other projects I have been working on, so today I was able to get the tables (yes both of them) cleaned up and things put away. It feels good to do that everyone once in a while! So when is the last time you started a new project on a clean table with all of your supplies put away? I know it has been a while for me but it was fun today to start a project I am doing for my line for seminar with a clean area! OH .... are you all guessing what I am making? I hope so ..... but you will have to wait and see. I will tell you that it is not purple and it is very practical!! But that is all ...... you will have to wait and see! Blessings

Carrots for you!

I'll beat you were hoping for the sparkly carets ... sorry but I thought these came out really cute. I made these carrots boxes and filled them with jelly beans for the craft show I will be doing. But I need some help ... what do you think I should price them at? Yes, the jelly beans are inside and to give you an idea of the size ...... I can cut out two per piece of card stock. Give me your thoughts please since I have a little over twenty of these ready to go. Blessings

Angel K.I.S.S.

What a beautiful day here yesterday! The snow is finally starting to melt and it was in the 40's ... it felt like Spring is coming! YEAH!!! I was treated to a wonderful lunch at a new tea room in the area ... we had a great lunch. The rest of my day I was working on some projects that I have had in my mind for a while. I am so excited I started a coaster book with pictures of my daughter at play for the theme and I am almost finished. I really prefer mini albums since they are so quick and easy to finish. I may submit it for a magazine or for a TAC contest so I am not sure when I will be able to share ..... I know that was a tease ...... sorry.

I have been trying to use up some of my scraps and this simple but stately card came about. Printed card stock is from the Merry Wishes Soar with it Collection and the 'happy birthday' stamp' is from from More One Liners. See what you can make with some of your scraps today ... they can be quick and easy in 10 minutes of less to have on hand when you need a card. Blessings!

Gift card/Business card Holder

I had a lot of fun at Jubilee Night on Friday! I really enjoyed the contest and watching everyone made a card via a relay! If you haven't joined us yet, I hope you plan on the next one on March 16! Here is one of the projects we made from a quarter sheet of orange Matchmakers paper folded in half. Glue a 2 & 1/2 x 4” Kaleidoscope Brites Soar with it Collection to the front of the holder. Stamp the rick rak from Ribbon Borders on a 1/2 x 4 & 1/4” Apple Green CS in Bordeaux Palette Ink and glue on the front. Stamp the flower and the inside of the flower, from Petal Pack, a new Jubilee Hostess set on a scrap of blue Matchmakers CS. Cut out, punch a hole in the center, attach a Princess Brad in the hole and attach with mounting cushion.

To fold the photo corner, which is made for a 3" square cut on its diagonal: crease the longest edge to find the center. Fold the right corner to the center of the longest side and crease in place. Fold each of the other corners down over the right corner. Attach the photo corner to the other 2 & 1/2 x 4” Soar with It Collection CS and glue to the inside of the holder.

You can put a gift card in here or a stack of your business cards or even a small gift. These photo corners make it so easy to have your photo corners matching your background papers for your scrapbook pages! Give it a try and let me know how you like them. Blessings

Sweets for You ....

Well, today I will be finishing things for my Jubilee Night! The bag here is an example of the bags I make for each person attending, which will hold the cut supplies for their projects. Shhhh! Don't let them see it yet! I usually make a few with a slight variation on them and then turn all the bags with the backs toward the customers so they can not see the variations when they select their bags. These variations are then the winners for the door prizes! I have a really fun stamping game planned for them too but I will have to wait till later to share.

The outside edge of the bag is stamped with my current very favorite color of Versamagic Chalk Pads, Jumbo Java, using the Jubilee set, So Splattered. Then I stamped the 3 x 4 1/4" Red #2 Matchmakers cardstock with the same color ink using the set, Chocoholic. Then edged with my current favorite set, Running Stitches, and roughed the edges up with the Edge Distresser. It is finished off with a pink ribbon tied around it and then tired in a bow. It is going to be fun tonight ... wish you all could attend. Hey ... looks like the sun will be out today! YEAH!!! Blessings
