A Hug

This sentiment is perfect for everything .... I love it and it is so true! On this cards I embossed the coral background under the words with a Cuddlebug folder. The images are from Stamping Sensations from a set called Botanical Collection #2
I colored the three images with my Copic markers and cut them out then layered them for more accent. It is hard to see in the picture but I colored the backgrounds of the squares with the Copic quads. These add a little color but not so much it takes away form the images. I also added a lot of clear glitter pen but I am not sure it shows in the photo either. The flowers and leaves are from punches and the center is a faux pearl drop.
I even decorated the inside of this card. It is fun making fancy cards insides decorated also.

Ready for some more good news!!!! Another dream of mine is coming true ...... I will be taking a vacation this summer with a friend in Chicago and while I am there we will be attend CHA. I have always wanted to go to this and now another thing from my bucket list will be checked off. And yes there will be more good news tomorrow ... isn't it fun to have a little piece of good news everyday. It helps us to focus on the good in our lives which is always a blessings.

Retiring sets ...

Not all of our favorite sets can last forever and that is true with TAC. Remember that the 2009 retires are all posted with the sales price on my TAC blog for you to see the images. Be sure to check them out before they are all gone!

Here is one of the sets I use a lot for wedding cards that I sell at Jeniffer & Com. called 'Blissfully Everafter'. But it is not limited to only wedding and shower cards. I have used the church for baptism and first Communions. Many of the images, especially the love birds I have used for anniversary cards too. I love to use it with the set called 'Rejoicing with You' since it has wonderful words to go on the inside of wedding cards.

For these three cards I used both my Scor-pal and Cuttlebug folders for them dry embossing. I used a glitter pen to add highlights to the bride and her dress!

Birds in my card

As I promised here are a few more of the cards I created using my own pictures. These two are made with pictures of chickadees from my bird feeder on my deck. I used my Cuddlebug folders in my Big Shot to form the backgrounds. I loved the fact that I could stamp the words between the diamonds on the one card. Stamps on the first one are from a retired sets from TAC and the bottom one from Ordinary Greetings. This is a classic set with mostly expressions we use the most in our card making. I use it a lot.

I went to Dollar Tree last week and have been making some really cute alter items for my craft show this Spring. I need to take the pictures and then I will show you. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Blessings
