Wormest Wishes

The verdict is still out on this one ... not sure I like it. I was trying to continue the square pattern on the Just Like Dad Collection Paper ..... but not sure it worked for me. I used the 3" square acrylic and drew around it with Tombow markers and then added the dots .... maybe it is the dots I do not like. The worm is stamped and then I added Crystal Lacquer and the wiggly eyes to it. I punched holes down the edge with my High Tech tool. Oh I used the Happy Bug Day set from the Spring Fling stamps. So what do you think? We all make cards sometimes we do not like and that is OK ... I just decided to show you this one ..... I usually do not show the ones I do not like. A small BOLD MOVE for me!

Reminder to put your orders in by Sunday and I will pick up the tax for you!

Also, TAC gave us this link: http://www.shaneswish.com/index.php to help touch the life of a young boy. Can you help to by sending him a card? I hope all of you can ... I will be sending him one of my Bug Day cards today! Blessings

Here is another card made with the Happy Bugday set from TAC's new Spring Fever sets. I think this grasshopper is so cute!! I used Just Like Dad Wing It Collection Papers with the matching MatchMakers paper. I folded the photo corners in coordination paper. The corners are accented with In Bloom Mini Brads. I stamped the grasshopper and then put Crystal Lacquer on top of it to make it raised and shiny. Enjoy and blessings.

Happy Bugday!!

On this card I use a stripe of striped Designer paper on the bottom. The bees are stamped with markers and then I added Crystal Stickles to their wings and colored in their stripes with gold. It is a Angle K.I.S.S. card. These are my favorite to make ... can you tell.

I went on a day trip with the local college yesterday to see Bluebells in Poland, Ohio, wild flowers, with a naturalist. I made this same trip last year at the same time and all of the bluebells were in full bloom ... fields of them ... but not yesterday ... most were still in bud. Interesting how much the growing season is changed by our late spring. We did see some awesome birds and other wildflowers which were beautiful. The sun was out for all of the trip so it was great day! I love it when the sun is out and the birds are chirping!! Happy Bugday to all!! Blessings
