Copics - Blender

I have been working really hard on my series of Copic classes and am very pleased with the results.  I taught my first classes last month but will be repeating it again for people who missed it.  Check out the calendar above for the dates. If you are Not Local and would like to work the series with us check out Store at the top of my blog. I have finished my Copic - Blender class which is the first in the series.  You must take the 101 class first and have practices those techs before  you can take the others. They can be taken  in any order you want. In all of the classes we are making a 4 x 6" Copic Tech Book with worksheets with samples and directions for each of the techniques.

Here are the techniques I will be teaching in Copic - Blender class:

• Fixing mistakes
• Fading
• Fading to white - with different feels (cool, antique etc.)
• Bricks - many different ways
• Pebbles
• Watercolor Look
• Coloring on stamps
• Stripes and dots
• Using solution as an Ink pad
• Textures - we will do some and I will give you extra area to add your own
• Denim - all different kinds 
• Presoaking
• Washed out coloring - really cool tech quick and easy with no blending needed!
• Blotchy backgrounds

Plus I will do two 'Let's try it' pages where I give you step by step directions on how to color an image using the techs we learned in that class. The samples you see here are one of the 'Let's try it' pages for the Blender class.  I used three of the techs listed can you ID them?

I have also made up sheets for you to put in your favorite color blends for each color family.
