... with all of the leaves I have been getting out of the beds and lawn the last few day, you would think it was fall. My home has a lot of trees around it and they do not drop till close to Thanksgiving so it makes it so hard for me to get them taken care of in the fall. By the time they are down ... it is snowing here. So my springtime clean up is a lot of work.
Yes ... I am still using the 'Spring time' set from TAC! There is so much you can do with this set! It has fall leaves in it too! This is such a versatile set. Only a couple more days to get your double incentives with the "Celebration" with TAC so place your orders soon. I will be busy the last week with a few more work shops.
I feel really prosperous today! I went to a fun raiser for a friend's pre-school and I was the lucky winner of 5 golf lessons, a golf hat (one I can really wear to keep the sun off of me), golf balls, a beautiful spring planter with two violets and ivy in it, and a brand new toaster oven! I don't have one either. We had a great meal, saw friends I had not seen in a long time, danced and had a lot of fun! So to share my prosperity.
It is Blog Candy time!! If you leave me a post on this message before midnight on Monday I will randomly select a name and send you a free TAC unmounted stamp set valued at $5.95. And if I get more than 30 posts I will select two names. Please be sure to leave me your e-mail address so I can contact you directly! Let's see ..... how about sharing with me favorite shade plant (flowering ones too) so I can get some ideas on what to plant in the backyard. If you do not have one .. then your favorite outdoor plant is fine too! Easy care remember! Good luck and blessings

I had to buy this set because of you. I hope I can be as creative as you are... maybe someday :)

Well, I don't know whether this is a shade plant necessarily, since I've never had one, but my favorite is the hanging fuschia baskets. A friend of mine has them and I want some this year! They are so pretty. And they can get really big and gorgeous colors!
Sounds like you had a wonderful day (except for the leaves part).
I'm not really sure which plants like shade, although I'll have to find out since the house we are moving to has lots of shade. I'm hoping my usual summer favorites will do well at the new house: marigolds, zinnias, pansies, asters, mums, and anything that calls to me when I go to the nursery to buy them! I've been loving all of the Scor-pal cards.
I'm loving all of the samples you've made using this set!! I bought this set and haven't had a chance to use it but I am storing all of your ideas in my head!
As for a shade plant, I am not good with landscaping or plants of any kind so I have no idea! Sorry!! :(
Check out Sunday's News-Herald. The Extension Service did an article on shade loving plants.
