Vintage Holiday's Album

I love to make these 8 x 8 albums!! I first showed you my 'Simply Spooky' one ... which I have now updated with a new look ... so I will take pictures and show you again. This one is made with the Wing It Collections, Vintage Holiday. I have had three classes and everyone who has made them loves them and can not believe they can make a completed album with 10 pages so quickly!! I like to put an oval, suing my Coluzzel, on the cover (with a transparency inserted) to insert a favorite picture. I then use the cut out oval on the last page of the book ... so nothing goes to waste! I use the Carl's Drill press to punch holes in the thick covers and to add a hole to the page protectors. oh .. the page protectors are from TAC too! You get 10 pages (two books) for $3.50!! What a deal!! The Wing It Collections you can make 3 or 4 albums with one pad of paper ($6.95) so these will make great holiday gifts!

This is one of my favorite pages. I used Whimsical Greetings, ribbon, Stickles, and my Big Shot die cuts so it was so quick and easy to make.

In most all of my albums I make a pocket page. This one I added some red card stock and cut a sheet to the Vintage Holidays paper in half to make the pages. I used one of the new fall supplement sets, Trendy Holiday Tags, and of course my Big Shot to make the scalloped circles.

I made a few easy and low cost embellishments on these pages by punching a circle from the back of the Wing It pad ... the card board! I then stamped the present from the Level A Hostess set Mini Occasions. I inked the edges, added ribbon and mounted it for depth. Oh so easy!!

If you are interested in attending a class on making a mini album let me know. I only will take 2-3 people per class so we have plenty of room to spread out. You can select your own Wing It Collection papers for your book. If you are not tired of seeing these I will post a few more of them this week. I am hoping to sell them for $25 each at my craft shows coming up. Blessings

Rita,
What a gorgeous album! What did you use for the cover base? Chipboard?
