Spring Fever sample

This card is made from Bold Birthday which is one of the Spring Fever sets. I used the Riveria Kaleidocolor Pad for the cake and words. Notice I lined the cake up on the pad so the tops of the candles are in the yellow section. I went around all of the edges with Noir black and the straight stitch from Running Stitches. A little trick in getting this thin stamp to make a good impression is to be sure to put the section you are stamping it on close to you, do not lean over to it, since you will be more prone to rock the stamp. I also touch the paper lightly with very little pressure and no rocking. The printed papers are scraps from another project I have been working on with Winterberry and Finger Paints Designer Collections. I love to put the printed papers together from different collections with the same print. I just love the way they all go together! I punched the large circle and then punched many 3/4" circles and cut them in half and taped them to the back of the larger circle for the big flower. The '2' is from Needed Numbers a Jubilee set and the 'U' is from my favorite alphabet set, Comic-Bet. I did not glue down the chartreuse dotted paper so money or a gift card could be slid under it. And it is accented with two black brads. This is an Angel K.I.S.S. card made from all scraps. I love how bright and fun it looks. Enjoy & Blessings
