Sunflower Gift with Purchase

This card can be made by everyone who attends my Open House this weekend which will be inside, unless you would like to sit on the deck.  It will be Sunday from 2-7 and then again on Monday from 4-8.  I have lots of samples, new classes, and products for you to see and purchase.  There will be three specials for those attending the Open House on TAC products so come check it out.  Please let me know so I know how many papers to cut.  You can come any time and leave at any time .... you do not have to stay all day.

This card uses the new Gift with Purchase stamps called 'Sunflower' which could be yours  FREE with an order of $30.  I colored it simply with only three Copic markers, added the Scor-bug dots and sanding for detail and the words are from another FREE set called 'Happy Leaf'. This set is a Level A set with a $100 purchase OR you can purchase it in Aug with a $30 order and attending one of my card classes for only $4.50.

I had fun yesterday inside stamping and making all kinds of samples!  I will not be at the market in Painesville today due to the heat .... and maybe not tomorrow either.  It is too hot for me to set up/tear down and sit out there for 4-6 hours. 

Sunflowers

Here is another card using the Stamp of the Month for May, 'Sunflowers'.  It is one of my favorite sets and is $7.95 until May 31 with a $30 purchase.  The words are from the set 'Just One You' and on the inside says, "..... guess that's why there's just one you."  I love those  words.  The card is colored with Copic markers.

I couldn't find the cord to my camera after the gathering so I could not post here .... sorry ... I have cards ready to post too.  I will be having a 3 day card marathon from today till Tues since we are suppose to have more rain and I am running low on cards which hardly ever happens.

The last few days have been a blessing ...... the weather was beautiful with blue skies and nice temperatures and NO RAIN!  I started my three Farmer's Markets this week and enjoyed them so much!  It is great getting back into the swing of it again .... but I think I lost some muscle over the winter since it was harder for me to pop up my tent .... I hope I can get it back!  My markets are posted under 'Where to find me' at the top of this page.  Stop in any time and see me and enjoy the great produce, plants, crafts, smells, foods, people and atmosphere with me.  They are so much fun to do!

May SOTM take three ....

 Here is another card using this months SOTM, 'Sunflower'.  I used the bird image again and the words are from 'Trendy Greetings' which is my all time fall back to set for general holiday words. I used a Sizzix Texture Fade Embossing Folder, Copic Markers, Spellbinders Label #1 die and a bow.  It has the same element from yesterday's card but this time I made it into a gatefold card.

There are cards similar to these can be purchases at either Jenniffer & Co in Mentor or Bella Dona in Painesville.  I have my cards in a rack at both of these beauty salons.

May SOTM take two ....

Surprise  ..... yes I have a few post scheduled .... two posts two days.  I made this card with the bird image from the May SOTM, 'Sunflowers'.  I colored it with Copic markers, added a Sizzix Textured Fade Embossing Folder for the panel this time and I  was real happy with the way this ribbon matched.  I used Spellbinders Labels #1 die also.  I am really using up scraps and unused parts on my stamping table for this my cards this week.

I tried to follow it but did tweak it a little with the larger last layer with my image and I also switched the side it was on .... but that is the idea of a sketch .... to put your own twist on it.

Yesterday I needed to make up cards and get them to the shops so I made a few with this months SOTM so I could show you all here.  This sis a great set 'Sunflowers' and I have used it in a lot of my cards in the past too.  It is on page 60 of the current Inspiration Book and can be yours for $7.95 with a $30 purchase for the month of May.  This card follows the sketch with a few of my own tweaks.  I used a Sizzix Textured Fade Embossing Folder for the background, scalloped scissors on the white top layer and added a yellow bow. It is colored with Copic markers.  I made cards using images other than the main one and will feature another card tomorrow with this set also.
