Watercolor Plants

Today my good friend Holly is the featured stamper with You make February Fabulous and she selected one of my all time favorite sets 'Watercolor Plants'.  You can see her and others great creations HERE!   For my first card I sued some of the scrapes on my stamping table from the Emma SWIC and Rich Cocoa and Potters Clay Memento Inks.  I stamped, double stamped and triple stamped one of the plants in each of the colors to make it look like a field for flowers.  I love this look!

I added a ribbon at the bottom to the layered images and stamped the words in Noir Palette Ink from the set 'Love you'.  This is for sure a quick and easy card to make!

My second card I Score the white card stock on the diagonal in both directions with a double line and then stamped the little butterfly .... opps ... I thought that stamp was from this set but it is NOT.  Not sure how it got into that CD case ..... in both red and lavender Memento Ink.  I layered it on an embossed dotted lavender card stock.  I then added a touch of yellow Stickles at each intersection.

I punched out two scalloped hearts and stamped the flower in the back with lavender and the words over it in red ink.  The yellow Stickles is also added in the centers of the flowers.

Again a very simple and easy card to make .... now I need to find the correct home for that cute little butterfly!!!!!

Great job stamping the multiple flowers - I always over do it some how and it clashes. This is perfect!
