Candy Greeting Cards
Every year at this time I try to come up with a little gift item using candy to share with your friends during the holiday season. This year's idea is a little bigger than most since it holds a full size Hershey Candy Bar inside. I made it with my Cricut and Gypsy with a large background shape folded in half and then a 3D flower at the top. Can you tell I love to decorate things with 3D flowers that I make. I really used scrapes of paper to decorate them since the printed papers where left over from cards and then I have all kinds of white paper scrapes the same size so I used them for the words on the front and the note section inside.
On the inside, I taped the candy to one side and then put a stamped paper on the other side for people to write a special note on. It is decorated with the same stamp I used to decorate the front words. I used the stamp for this months SOTM Autumn Leaves from The Angel Company for the ones pictures. They are held together with a new product by 3M which is like Velcro but better with paper projects. I will of course make this with different colors and stamps for the Christmas season.
I will be selling these at my upcoming show.
