Purse of Blessings

I am so excited to share this project with all of you ... it is really cute, if I can say so myself.  At CHA I got myself a 12 x 12 Big Shot Pro so I could put more dies and folders through the machine at one time.  I also got one 12 x 12 die cut .... so what do you think of it?

It is a purse that hold 10-15 cards!!!  I decided to make it without a handle, it will sit on top of a desk, is easily opened, and has 10 cards inside that match.  I have sold my 'Bags of Wishes' which is a decorated cellophane bag of cards with 8 cards four of each of two designs at shows and now this is it's big sister. Click on link to see them.
The front is  decorated with scraps of paper (really!!) and I then I added a big paper flower.  All of the purses are different too which makes them so much fun to make!

Here is a close up of one of the cards. As you can see I kept the design simple. They are basically the same with a variety of greetings on them.  For this one I used the set 'Simply Divine' and ' Thinking of You' (retired Hostess set) from The Angel Company.  The flowers are cut out on my Cricut with the Home Decor cartridge.  And of course the purse if a Sizzix Bigz Pro Die called Purse #2.  I am so loving it ... and will show you more of these designs next week. First I want to get some Halloween cards posted and a few sneak peaks of sets to be in the new TAC Fall Supplement.

This is a close up of the cards ... there are 10 but they may not all be showing since I do put in two birthday.

This is the inside of the purse and you can see that there is plenty of room for more cards ... so this is a great storage place for card you plan on sending out.

I will have these at my up coming shows if you are interested in purchasing one ... they are great gifts for others or yourself.
