Damask Rose stamp

My weeks are flying by with 3-4 shows a week, classes, and keeping product in stock!  But I am loving it!  Today was a catch up day to make cards since so many are selling .... I make wedding cards (8-12) a week and sell out each week.  Today I focused on wedding and sympathy ...  I know complete opposites. I wanted to share with you a little unknown stamp that is terrific!!!  It is the rose in The Angel Company's Damask Backgrounders set.  It is so versatile ....  check it out.  (Click on pictures to make them bigger)

In the first card I used a border punch on the edge and added the rose down the side.  I was able to find an ink and paper that matched perfectly so I put a stripe of it on the inside of the card under the punches to help highlight it.  Then added a simple word stamp on the front and the inside.  It looks so rich in real life!  Notice the envelope ... all are the same for each card I show you today and the rose looks really great going down the side like this.

Next I used it under the words for this anniversary card .... the colors look so much better in person.  Here I scored three close lines on the left with my Scor-Buddy, added a stripe of printed punched paper and a ribbon with a bow.  Keep them simple when you have lots to make!

This is the same design as the last one but I used an embossed paper as the background, and scrapes of white paper punched and stamped as the focal point and then added the ribbon, bow and words.  I made this one so it could be either a wedding or anniversay card.  Oh ... this little rose stamp looks really great on the inside of your cards too with your words!

Next I moved on to using the same stamp ..... remember it is just that small rose stamp used in different colors and ways!  But this time on a wedding card with a larger punched border and the rose on the insets of the punch.  The image is a retired TAC stamp, stamped in charcoal and highlighted with a clear gel glitter pen. I like to use charcoal ink on wedding and baby cards instead of black so it is not so harsh.  The green paper is a purchased embossed paper.

Here is my favorate one!!!  Isn't it beautiful!!  The same idea as the above card but with a differeent color scheme.  Now can you believe that the little stamp in that set is the main image on all of these cards ranging from sympathy to wedding and stamped in so many different colors.  It was shocking to me to see how versatile it is.

Yesterday I made about 45 cards and ran out of juice!  Class today and then more card making for this weeks show.  I am so loving this.  New show this week at Tri Point Hospital on Friday from noon to 5:30.  If you want to purchase any of these cards stop by to see me!

Oh ... notice on the top of my blog I have added tabs to help you navigate to different locations.  You can go to my class blog, calendar and then last night I added a tab for my shows I will be doing.  I have all of my summer shows on so far and started the ones I am for sure in for the fall but there will be more added in the next few weeks  .... I am still working on them.  Have a great day!!  Blessings

What beautiful cards you have displayed with this set - and I do have this one. I made my thank you cards for my open house using the rose. Love the versatility you have showcased.
