Great News .....

I have decided to reactivate this blog!! I have lots of exciting news to share with you too!! First ..... drum roll ..... I am now a Card Stylist for DRS Designs! I am so thrilled to be able to work with their images and words. I have wanted to do this type of work for a long time and now I am. Check out their site.

The two cards I am showing here are from my Angelic Impressions Weekend last weekend using their images. They both have Brush Cattails as the main image which I colored with OMS and colored pencils and Liquid Applique on the cattails. On the top one I just let it dry and on the bottom card I let it dry 10-15 minutes and then used the heat tool on it for the puffy look. They both have backgrounds using my favorite tool, the Scor-pal. The words on the top card are on the inside using the Serenity Prayer which is a prayer I used daily for all occasions.


For this cards I used one of my favorite word images from DRS, A Hug is the Perfect Gift. Isn't that just great! For both cards I sponged a cloud background and used a Sizzix dragon fly die cut from blue glossy paper with the body colored with Copic Markers.
