Play Time

They grow up so fast! My daughter will be graduating from college next weekend (5 year program). I couldn't decide what to get her so decided to do what I do best make parts of her gift. Part of her gift (another part I will show you later on) will be this mini album I made of her 'at play' when she was a child. I hope she likes it! I used coasters for the pages and covered them with the dotted print papers from Finger Paints, Brighten My Day, and Winterberry Designer Collection papers since they were all bright and playful colors. Since the prints are all the same you can match many of the different packs together! Isn't that cool!! It brought back lots of wonderful memories while I was working on it .... that's what scrapbooking can do for us. Keep us in touch with the wonderful times of our lives while making and looking at our pages. I prefer making mini albums since they are quick and easy. Part of the book I used various word stamps and others I hand wrote in my thoughts. One of my favorite sayings retiring set was used on the last page, Kid Kwips, with the phrase, "I'm so glad that God made me your mom!" I hope she likes it as much as I enjoyed putting it together for her!! Now none of you tell or show her what I made for her ... its a secret till she graduates! Blessings

What a great idea - I have such a hard time figuring out what to do with all the coasters.
