Underwater Pop Z-fold

I am having fun with this new fold for me the last few months ... it is called the pop z-fold card sind the fish is in hanging in mid air.  The stamps and words are from Stampendous, papers My Favorite Things Designs, label die from Our Daily Bread designs.  It is colored with Copic makers.

Crazy Cats

I love this card!!  I made it for a friend who is health challenged right now who is an cat lover.  I used Tim Holtz Crazy Cats for the stamps, word and label stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs, papers from My Favorite things Designs and card base die is from Sizzix.  I colored with Copic markers.

Sunflower Easel Card

This past week I have been making so many cards that are different folds than a standard A2 to sell at markets, stores and craft shows.  I get caught in a cycle of one type of paper and keep making more and more cards using just that collection.  I will be showing you only A FEW of the card I made using the Heartfelt Creations Sunflower Collection in the next few days.  I usually embellish with Crystal Lacquer, Wink of Stella, ribbons, dies and mounted layers.  On this one I also added some fancy dies from Our Daily Bread Collection along with the stamp words on the base by them.

Stamp-a-Stack Winking Frogs

 I am loving making cards form the Heartfelt Creations papers!  These are the cutest cards I think I have ever made.  I am also planning another Stamp-a-Stack with actually NO stamping in it at all for Monday Oct 10 and again Saturday October 15 from 1-4:30 at my church in Mentor.  I created 8 cards using Heartfelt Creations Winking Frogs papers with 3 having pockets for gift cards etc (if you prefer), one larger square card, and 5 being different folds.  I haven't figures the cost yet since I am playing with the idea of giving you the extras from the papers I use but it will be between $25-28.  I will need to know the number attending by the middle of Sept so I can get the papers ordered.  So let me know if you are interested in this class also.

Spring Stamping Event

Hi Everyone!  I've got the cards designed and ready for my annual Spring Stamping Event on either May 22 or 23 from 1-4 (same each day) at my church PLBC in Mentor.  Please let me know by this coming Monday if you are planning on attending so I can get everything cut and ready.  Thanks!  Hope you can attend!

Step it up class

I am calling this card a 'Multi-layered Panel Step Card' and it is one of three that I designed and created for my Step it up  Class for Adventures in Stamping in Akron Ohio from April 22-24.  Click HERE to see all the classes for the convention.

Step it Up Class

In my class called 'Step it Up' I will be teaching 3 more challenging cards at Adventures in Stamping from April 22-24 in Akron Ohio.  This card I am calling a 'Gated Stepped Easel Card' and folds up to fit in an A2 envelope (but I use an A6 due to the depth of the card).  I use a variety of different companies for this project from these companies: Elizabeth Craft Designs, Our Daily Bread Designs, Heartfelt Creations, Art Impressions, My Favorite Things Designs, We R Memory Keepers, and Lawn Fawn.  Go to their web site HERE to see the details and sign up.

Step it up Class

I am calling this card a 'Winged Standing Boxed Step Card' and will be in my class 'Step it Up' at Adventures in Stamping from April 22-24 in Akron Ohio.  It is one of the three cards I created and designed for this class.  Click Here to see more of the details. 

Adventures in Stamping 2

These are the last two folds in my class 'Fun Folds for You' at Adventures in Stamping  Convention this year.  The one on the left is a Free Standing Card and the one on the right is a Twisted Side Step card.  

Adventrues in Stamping

'Fun Folds for You' class is one of the three classes I will be teaching this year at Adventures in Stamping during April 22-24 in Akron, Ohio.  In this class I will be teaching 5 easy and fast fun folds for cardmakers.  This photo shows from left to right a Standing Corner Card, Stepped Panel Card and a Reverse Gate Fold Card.  If you are local and can not make it to the convention and are still interested in learning to make these cards let me know in the comments and I may offer them in my home this summer if there is enough interest. 

Sand Castel Card in a Box

This one looks so much better in person!  The sand castel is a purchase die cut image but the shells are all retired TAC stamps that I colored with Copic markers.

Anna Griffin Flip Card 2

Here is another of the cards I made with the dies and embellishments from a kit I got from HSN by Anna Griffins.  I will show a few of the cards from the kit too.  I wanted to make one without flowers so I used the butterfly die instead.

Yes, I purchased a card kit from Anna Griffin on HSN a few weeks ago since it had the dies to make the cards also.  I am totally in love with the kit.  It is so easy, anyone could make the cards and the die cut embellishments are thick and sturdy! And there are so many of the embellishments that you can put them on the inside too.  I made 21 cards with the kit the first two days I had it and will make many many more!  This one I made with the die that came with the kit and the words and embellishments are from the kit.  I added the ribbon since you all know I love ribbon on a card!

Tri-easel Lake Erie card

Happy Easter!!! 

Thinking summer with this tri-easel card features my personal photos from Lake Erie which is less that 10 minutes from me with our own lighthouse!!  These cards fold flat to put in an envelope which comes with the card.  They are larger cards measuring approximately 4 1/4 x 10 1/4" in size.  I can make one with your own personal photos if you like or you can purchase any of the cards that I show here on my blog by contacting me personally.

Tri-Easel Flower Photo Card

Happy Spring!!  This tri-easel card features some of my photos of flowers.  I am making these for sale at the markets this summer and can create a personal one with your personal photos if you like.  I will need three photos that can be cropped into a minimum of  3 -
3 1/4" square.  I would need at least a week to complete it.  Colors will have to match the photos.

I'm here!

Hi Everyone! Happy Easter!!! I had computer challenges and it took me a while to figure out how to get everything working together again.... all better now.  Sorry it has been so long since I posted.  I would like to have a shout out to see how many people are reading this to see if I should continue.  I only had one person notify me that she missed me.  So please post a "hi" in the comments if you would like me to continue to post what I have been making.  Thanks!!  Also, if you are one of my local stampers let me know if you would be interested in a spring stamping event May 7 or May 14. 

I have been making all kinds of fun cards for preparation for the markets opening in May!!  I will be doing the Willoughby Farmer's Marktet on Saturdays from 8-noon starting in May till the end of Sept. and the Mentor Market on Fridays from 2-6:30 starting in June.

This is one of the new types of cards I have been making. They are  tri-easel card.  I put three of my own photos on the card and heart felt words with embellishments.  They fold down and I have an envelope that it can be mailed in included.  They are approximately 4 1/4 x 10 1/4" in size.  You can sign your own words on the back of the card.

Pull up step card

I have a few new folds I have learned and this is one of them!!  It is a pull up step card and I used die from Heartfelt Creations.  I lam loving these dies with the branch, leaves and little flowers.  They cut/stamp multiple images at a time and can be used in so many different ways.  I also used papers from Our Daily Bread Designs called Blushing Roses.  This card stands up on it's own but can be folded down to fit into an A2 envelope.   I have many many different themes of these and will be selling them at my markets.  Come stop and say 'hi!"
