Step it Up Class

In my class called 'Step it Up' I will be teaching 3 more challenging cards at Adventures in Stamping from April 22-24 in Akron Ohio.  This card I am calling a 'Gated Stepped Easel Card' and folds up to fit in an A2 envelope (but I use an A6 due to the depth of the card).  I use a variety of different companies for this project from these companies: Elizabeth Craft Designs, Our Daily Bread Designs, Heartfelt Creations, Art Impressions, My Favorite Things Designs, We R Memory Keepers, and Lawn Fawn.  Go to their web site HERE to see the details and sign up.

If you are a local and interested in taking the classes I have been showing here in my home in Painesville please let me know and I will see about setting ups some dates.

Adventrues in Stamping

'Fun Folds for You' class is one of the three classes I will be teaching this year at Adventures in Stamping during April 22-24 in Akron, Ohio.  In this class I will be teaching 5 easy and fast fun folds for cardmakers.  This photo shows from left to right a Standing Corner Card, Stepped Panel Card and a Reverse Gate Fold Card.  If you are local and can not make it to the convention and are still interested in learning to make these cards let me know in the comments and I may offer them in my home this summer if there is enough interest.

Graduation Match Box Cards

I made these graduation box cards for selling at the Willoughby's Farmers Market on Saturday mornings from 8-12 AM.  They have a removable card inside to write your message to the graduate and the box is meant to hold your monetary gift.  They can then be used for keepsakes for the grad.  The two die sets I used for the dies are from My Favorite Things/Die-namics and the match box is made on my We R Memories Envelope Board.

Pockets of Blessings Series

Here are more in my Pockets of Blessings Series.  Some of them have gum, some lip gloss and others have marshmallow chocolate bunnies in them.  All of them are made so you can slip a gift card or money in them and have a place to write a special message card included.  Some are decorated for Easter, some birthdays and others are for all occasions.  I will have them at my March 22 Craft Show at St. Pasqual's in Highland Heights.  Hope to see some of you there.

Playing Cards

Every year people ask for more masculine items to give as small gifts or as gifts with an added gift card or money.  This year I came up with the idea a doing playing cards in a storage box with a back tab to close it and a card inside to write your message on.  I did not do a lot of embellishing since I wanted to keep them masculine looking.  I hope these will meet the bill for some of you as small gifts.  I will have them at my show at St Pasqual's on March 22.  Stop in to see me!

Post-it Note Box with Pen

I try to doing a new project with post-it notes every year since these are one of my most asked for items.  This year I added a box with post-it notes inside with a short pen attached to the side.  It will also hold a gift card, money etc. and has a back tab to hold it closed.  These are made on the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Board also including the back tab.  They are refillable also.  Come check them out at St Pasqual's Spring Craft show on Saturday March 22.

More Teeny Tiny Notes

These are more examples from the post earlier and I have a photo so you can see the packaging.  I have a lot more different types available for all different types of occasions.

Teeny Tiny Notes

These are my new Teeny Tiny Notes!  They are about the size of a gift card (and the envelope will hold one) and can be used as a little message to gift someone or as a way to gift a gift card, money etc.  I have them packaged in sets of four, two of each type with a lot of different colors, themes and looks.  Great to give in a lunchbox, on a desk, on a pillow, in a gift as a card enclouser, etc.  I have put on a product I sell called 'Lick 'n Stick' so the envelopes can be closed. I have them packaged so they are easy to see the two note types and the envelopes inside with a little topper.  I will post more types later today so you can see the variety I will be selling today at the craft show.  If you miss the show today, I will be at St Pasqual's on March 22 in Highland Heights.

Pockets of Pencils

Here are some more items I have been making for my Spring shows.  These are also make with the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Maker.  They are filled with pencils, some with flags with words or expressions on them some with out.  These would be a fun addition to an Easter basket or a lunchbox surprise.  Hopefully the snow will hold off for the Spring Fling Craft show on Saturday at St John Vianney's Church in Mentor by Lake Catholic High School.  Hope to see some of you there!

Pocket of Seeds

These little pockets hold a pack of flower seeds and a place to write a note to the receiver.  You can tuck in a gift card, money etc if you want to make it a bigger gift.  They are made with my We R Memories Keepers Envelope Maker, Spellbinder dies, various word stamps, ribbons and leaf dies.  I will be selling them this Sat at St John Vianney's Spring Fling Craft show.  Stop in to see me if you can!

Envelope Maker Extraordinaire Class #1

Isn't this a cute little gift card, money, or treat holder!!  It is all made with the We R Memory Maker Envelope Scoreboard.  Yes the holder and the bow too!!  The bow can be made like the one above or with the ties going out straight from the loops, both ways are cute.  I will be teaching both of these techniques in my Envelope Maker Extraordinaire #1 class starting Feb 1.  Check out my calendar (tab above) for dates and times.  I do have one board someone can use in the class but if you would like to purchase one from me let me know so I can try and get enough in on time.  I will be having a second class using this tool starting in March. If people are interested I have two larger projects I could make into a third class.  If you are interested in taking #1 & #2 class on the same day (traveling far) let me know and I will plan a few dates where we can take a lunch break between.

In this class you will learn how to make the tiniest of envelopes to a gift bag to hold a gift.  Projects we will learn/make using the envelope scoreboard in this class: an A2 envelope with matching card with a pull out gift card holder, gift bag with matching gift card size envelope with card enclosure, gift card holder envelope with bow made on the tool, snowman treat holder and a post-it note box/holder.  Since we are making so many items I did not do a lot of extra decoration on them so we can get through the methods.  Most all my customers would be able to decorated them as they would like.

Envelope Maker Extraordinaire #1 Class

I have a new tool that I am loving!!  It is the Envelope Maker Scoreboard by We R Memory Keepers.  It make envelopes of all different sizes and shape but it also does a lot more!!  I will be teaching two different classes using this tool to show you all how versatile it is.  In the first class I will teach the basics and you will make a A2 envelope with matching card with a pull out gift card holder (it is a cool card but the pictures will not do it justice), a gift bag with matching small card with envelope, a gift card holder envelope with bow made on the tool, and a post-it note box/holder.  I will be teaching the first class the first week in Feb. Check my calendar above for dates and times.  If you are interested in attending let me know via email or call.  If you do not have a board you can use mine or I can order you one for the cost of $15 each.  Please let me know early enough so I can get the order in on time.

The photo above is the gift bag we will be making.  Each will select there own paper print and color for the project.  I used two different Elizabeth Craft Design Dies for the flowers and leaves and white ribbon to tie it closed.

Wait till you see the new look in my studio!!  Big improvements have and are being made in there the last few months.  It has been getting away from me since I have been so busy but I took time the last two months to get a lot done it there. Two walls are freshly painted, many of the old eye candy is gone, new arrangement of tables, new book shelves in two different areas, things in new locations and more!!  Come check it out if you have time.
