HI! What a productive day I had yesterday. I made all kinds of card pack for craft shows .... yes this is the first time every that they are sell!! It was fun making these ... I love to make quick and easy cards in mass production. But the fun thing is that I made up one of my new ideas .... about 10-15 of them. They look really cute .... tease .... but I am going to wait till the appropriate time of the year to share them with you ... closer to Christmas. They will make really cute gifts! If you are coming to St. Gab's this weekend you will be able to see them ... hint .... they have chocolate and cards together in a new way!
Today's card is using the Sunflowers from TAC's new fall supplement. I love coloring sunflowers! I have been making mats with my Cricut and keeping them on hand for card making and this is one of the cards I made with one of those matts. It is so much easier to make up a lot of them at one time and have them ready .... all different kinds. I do the same of the word labels. I have a clam shell already made up with dividers in it to keep different Cricut shapes to put words in. I make one in white and a larger one in either black or brown and then they will go with most any card I make. When you make as many cards in a day as I do this is a quick way to mass produce. Here I scored the background with my Scor-pal, added a matt, added a stamped colored image and a word label. Card is done!
Sometimes I add embellishments but this one I decided with done. I always add Spica glitter pens for a soft glitter look. I am not sure you can see it in the photo. On this image I did a border of Copic along the edge to match the coloring.
Today I will be going to Hutson to stamp with Velda's Paper Dolls group! I always look forward to seeing all of them.
Please keep a few of my close friends in prayer this week since they are both going through some great challengens in their lives .... Margie and Pat. Thanks!
